ERP-implementering i en SMB : en casestudie i en kunnskapsintensiv bedrift

2011

2011

Implementeringsfasen blir dermed utfordrende for mange.

Emerging Raf inhibitors

2009

The Raf/MAPK kinase/extracellular-signal-regulated kinase pathway is often activated by genetic alterations in upstream signaling molecules. An integral component of this pathway, BRAF, is also activated by mutation, especially in melanoma and thyroid cancers. The Raf/MAPK kinase/extracellular-signal-regulated kinase pathway has profound effects on proliferative, apoptotic and differentiation pathways as well as the sensitivity and resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs. This review discusses targeting of Raf which could control abnormal proliferation in cancer and other proliferative diseases. The important roles that genetics plays in the response of patients to Raf inhibitors is also evalua…

Project report : Methodology for terminology harmonisation

2020

A common understanding of language and concepts used is essential for any meaningful communication. For large rescue operations effective communication is crucial to save lives. Such operations can require cooperation among first responders from several sectors with a different understanding of terms and concepts. Redningshåndboka (the National Rescue handbook) provides a common glossary for use across all sectors for their communications in training and practice. However, today each sector maintains their own glossaries, acronyms and jargon, causing potential misunderstandings in joint operations. In this report we propose a way to apply the Norwegian Public Management Standard from the No…

Embedded students? Can libraries benefit from students having work placements in the library in planning library instruction?

2019

This article discusses how students can be more integrated in developing library instruction and what advantages that can provide for librarians planning their teaching. The students seem to have a different starting point as to how important the librarians’ knowledge of the subject at hand is and whether or not library instruction should be an integrated part of the course.

A Taxonomy as a Vehicle for Learning

2009

In this article, we describe the development of a classification system providing a framework for analysis of, and communication about, a subgroup of learning objects. The objects we consider are highly visual, animated, interactive, and mathematics-related, and we call them VaniMaps. Secondly, we discuss the use of the system. In the first phase, the development was based on literature studies and discussions on examples of VaniMaps. In the second phase, the classification system was tested by students and their responses were analyzed to identify possible improvements. Now, the system is developed further based on experience gained while using it for different purposes. We see several pos…
