Para responder a esta cuestión se ha realizado un estudio de casos en 2º curso de Educación Primaria, donde se comparan las habilidades cartográficas de un grupo experimental en el que se ha intervenido con otro de control sin intervención. A la muestra se le aplica un pretest y un postest para que realice una representación pictórica de un itinerario y responda a cuatro cuestiones. All three cholesterol oxidation products implicated thus far in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease, 7β-hydroxycholesterol, 24-hydroxycholesterol, and 27-hydroxycholesterol, markedly enhance the binding of amyloid-beta (Aβ) to human differentiated neuronal cell lines (SK-N-BE and NT-2) by up-regulating net expression and synthesis of CD36 and β1-integrin receptors. However, only 24-hydroxycholesterol markedly potentiates the pro-apoptotic and pro-necrogenic effects of Aβ(1-42) peptide on these cells: 7β-hydroxycholesterol and 27-hydroxycholesterol, like unoxidized cholesterol, show no potentiating effect. Extraction of short peptides using supported liquid membranes

Studies of extraction of short peptides using supported liquid membranes containing Aliquat 336 as a carrier are presented. The extractions are carried out from an aqueous donor phase with pH ≥ 10 to an acceptor phase containing salt. The mass transfer is driven by the gradient of salt concentration between these phases. The extraction efficiency is dependent on the composition of water phases, the type and concentration of counter-ion in the stagnant acceptor phase and the flow rate of the donor phase. Moreover, it is also influenced by the concentration and structure of the examined peptides.

Integration of Capital Markets from Central and Eastern Europe: Implications for EU Investors

Our paper investigates the extent of capital market co-movements between three emerging markets– Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland – and three developed markets from the European Union - Austria, France and Germany. We test whether an increase in correlations between the six markets took place in recent years, as revealing higher integration of capital markets in the region. We find a statistically significant positive trend in cross-market correlations between 1999 and 2008, before the emergence of the global financial crisis.
