Oggigiorno sono più propriamente definiti come "coristomi lipomatosi" (o lipocoristomi) poiché si è dimostrato che originano dal tessuto mesenchimale proprio del nervo vestibolo-cocleare. Background: Treating liver tumors using FUS poses a great challenge due to the respiratory motion of the target and by the rib cage obscuring the anatomical location of the malignancy. In the EU FP7 project TRANS-FUSIMO (www.trans-fusimo.eu) a novel treatment software has been developed to support MR guided focused ultrasound treatment of liver lesions through electronic real-time beam steering of the ultrasound transducer. Focal confluent fibrosis in cirrhotic liver: natural history studied with serial CT.

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to assess the long-term natural history of focal confluent fibrosis in cirrhotic liver with CT. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Two radiologists retrospectively reviewed in consensus 118 liver CT examinations in 26 patients (19 men, seven women; age range, 32-68 years; mean age, 50 years) performed over approximately 6 years. Helical CT scans were obtained before and 30-35 and 65-70 seconds after injection of 125-150 mL of contrast medium at a rate of 4-5 mL/s. On Limits at Infinity of Weighted Sobolev Functions

We study necessary and sufficient conditions for a Muckenhoupt weight $w \in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb R^d)$ that yield almost sure existence of radial, and vertical, limits at infinity for Sobolev functions $u \in W^{1,p}_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb R^d,w)$ with a $p$-integrable gradient $|\nabla u|\in L^p(\mathbb R^d,w)$. The question is shown to subtly depend on the sense in which the limit is taken. First, we fully characterize the existence of radial limits. Second, we give essentially sharp sufficient conditions for the existence of vertical limits. In the specific setting of product and radial weights, we give if and only if statements.
