Menn i pleieyrker : kjønnsforskjeller i jobbavgang blant pleiere i helse- og omsorgssektoren

Masteroppgave i velferdsstudier – Universitetet i Agder 2014 Studier på jobbavgang viser at menn i pleieyrker slutter i større grad enn sine kvinnelige kolleger i sin jobb. Vi undersøkte i denne oppgaven hva som forklarer jobbavgang hos menn i pleieyrker gjennom proxymålet intensjon om jobbavgang. Dette ansees som den nærmeste forløperen før faktisk jobbavgang, og studier på dette kan veilede på tilnærmingsmåter for å bedre beholde menn i disse yrkene. Et kjønnsfokus har veiledet oss innen forskningslitteraturen på jobbavgang og vi identifiserte seks hypoteser som så ut til å påvirke intensjonen om å slutte i sin jobb. Dette kapitlet er et bidrag i debatten om hvordan lærerutdanningsinstitusjoner kan tilrettelegge for opplæring i likestillingsspørsmål. Vi har gjennom et prosjekt fulgt tre studenter som har prøvd ut de likestillingsverktøyene som er utarbeidet av Fritt valg i ungdomsskolen. En modell for taus kunnskap er brukt for å analysere resultatene fra undersøkelsen, og det er funnene fra denne analysen som presenteres her. The main body of this thesis explores what it is that makes Buffy a television show with a feminist agenda. This thesis analyzes areas which privileges and problematizes human agency from the perspective morals in society. The series advocates using one’s agency in order to optimize potentiality. Hierarchical imaging and computational analysis of three-dimensional vascular network architecture in the entire postnatal and adult mouse brain

The formation of new blood vessels and the establishment of vascular networks are crucial during brain development, in the adult healthy brain, as well as in various diseases of the central nervous system. Here, we describe a step-by-step protocol for our recently developed method that enables hierarchical imaging and computational analysis of vascular networks in postnatal and adult mouse brains. The different stages of the procedure include resin-based vascular corrosion casting, scanning electron microscopy, synchrotron radiation and desktop microcomputed tomography imaging, and computational network analysis.
