Se exponen determinados aspectos relacionados con la infancia durante la Guerra Civil española. En concreto, se analiza el comportamiento de los niños en una guerra fratricida, en la que la infancia está sometida a presiones ideológicas. Expone la dificultad de los niños para entender el hecho de que aquel que ayer era ciudadano de una misma nación, hoy ya no lo sea, o que aquel que fue amigo, hoy deje de serlo. Las colonias de la guerra adquieren características de colonias permanentes, y no sólo para un mes de verano, asumiendo, sobre todo, el carácter de refugio protector de las calamidades de la guerra. Strictly convergent algorithm for an elliptic equation with nonlocal and nonlinear boundary conditions

The paper describes a formally strictly convergent algorithm for solving a class of elliptic problems with nonlinear and nonlocal boundary conditions, which arise in modeling of the steady-state conductive-radiative heat transfer processes. The proposed algorithm has two levels of iterations, where inner iterations by means of the damped Newton method solve an appropriate elliptic problem with nonlinear, but local boundary conditions, and outer iterations deal with nonlocal terms in boundary conditions.

Medical imaging tasks, such as segmentation, 3D modeling, and registration of medical images, involve complex geometric problems, usually solved by standard linear algebra and matrix calculations. In the last few decades, conformal geometric algebra (CGA) has emerged as a new approach to geometric computing that offers a simple and efficient representation of geometric objects and transformations. Il contributo si colloca nell'ambito del dibattito giussindacale sull'attuazione dell'art. 39 e dell'art. 46 cost. e pone in evidenza la necessità di una regolazione legislativa in alcuni ambiti specifici: l’efficacia soggettiva della contrattazione collettiva e le forme attraverso le quali si garantisce (rectius, si dovrebbe garantire) la partecipazione democratica dei lavoratori alle decisioni che li riguardano ovvero la verifica effettiva del loro consenso rispetto all’operato dei soggetti collettivi che agiscono in loro nome.
The effective cross section for double parton scattering within a holographic AdS/QCD approach

A first attempt to apply the AdS/QCD framework for a bottom-up approach to the evaluation of the effective cross section for double parton scattering in proton-proton collisions is presented. The main goal is the analytic evaluation of the dependence of the effective cross section on the longitudinal momenta of the involved partons, obtained within the holographic Soft-Wall model. If measured in high-energy processes at hadron colliders, this momentum dependence could open a new window on 2-parton correlations in a proton.
Search for Cosmic Neutrino Point Sources with Four Year Data of the ANTARES Telescope

In this paper, a time-integrated search for point sources of cosmic neutrinos is presented using the data collected from 2007 to 2010 by the ANTARES neutrino telescope. No statistically significant signal has been found and upper limits on the neutrino flux have been obtained. Assuming an E ¿2 n; spectrum, these flux limits are at 1-10 ¿10¿8 GeV cm¿2 s¿1 for declinations ranging from ¿90° to 40°. Limits for specific models of RX J1713.7¿3946 and Vela X, which include information on the source morphology and spectrum, are also given.

Given the existence of different databases from different sources that offer information on forward electricity prices, the need to compare them arises to guarantee that research results and trading decisions based on them are not sensitive to the database used. We worked with forward electricity prices traded over the counter, closest month to maturity, covering the period from 2010 to 2016 for the Spanish over the counter (OTC) market, and from 2008 to 2016 for the German OTC market. Este trabajo pretende, en primer lugar, cuestionar extendidas concepciones de la tecnología que la presentan como mera aplicación de los conocimientos científicos y que están contribuyendo a una imagen distorsionada y empobrecida de la naturaleza de la ciencia y la tecnología y, consecuentemente, al desinterés e incluso rechazo hacia su estudio. En segundo lugar se presentan los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo es analizar en qué medida dichas concepciones afectan incluso al profesorado encargado de la alfabetización tecnológica. Finalmente se aborda la transformación de dichas concepciones.

Revenant aux sources de définitions de la Didactologie/didactique des languescultures élaborées par Robert Galisson dans les années 1985-1986 en particulier, on constate que le paysage didactique actuel est fortement marqué par la prépondérance du recours à divers modes d’application relativement contrôlables, alors que l’on aurait pu croire que cette tendance était de nos jours révolue. Cette démarche permet également de remarquer l’aide apportée par Robert Galisson pour la démonstration de la légitimité de la Didactique de la musique du français (1996) à une époque où le Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues n’était pas encore paru ni appliqué.
