In the title compound, C17H18O5, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 31.23 (16)°. In the crystal, the molecules are packed in an antiparallel fashion in layers along the a axis. In each layer, very weak C-H...O hydrogen bonds occur between the methoxy and methyl ester groups. Weak C-H...[pi] interactions between the 4'- and 5'-methoxy groups and neighbouring benzene rings [methoxy-C-ring centroid distances = 4.075 and 3.486 Å, respectively] connect the layers.

Pētījuma problēmas būtība ir tā, ka pēc 1920.gada 1.jūlija, kad Valka tika sadalīta, lielākā daļa sabiedrisko un dzīvojamo ēku, kā arī iedzīvotāju, palika Igaunijas daļā. Maz bijatādu sabiedrisko darbinieku, kuri spētu ātri atjaunot sabiedrisko un kultūras dzīvi Valkā. Pirmajos 5 gados pēc pilsētas sadalīšanas sabiedrības aktuālākais jautājums bija pilsētbūvniecība, un tikai tad kultūras dzīves atjaunošana. Darba mērķis irnoskaidrot Valkas pilsētas kultūras un sabiedriskās dzīves virzītājspēkus, to darbības virzienus un panākumus, laika posmā no 1920. līdz 1940.gadam. Polyphenols and Pharmacological Screening of a Monarda fistulosa L. dry Extract Based on a Hydrodistilled Residue By-Product

This study aimed to determine the composition and content of polyphenols in the dry extract obtained from the hydrodistilled residue by-product of the wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa L., Lamiaceae Martinov family) herb (MFDE) and to evaluate its safety and pharmacological properties. The total phenolic content (TPC) in the MFDE was 120.64 mg GAE/g. The high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis showed the presence of a plethora of phenolic compounds, including hydroxycinnamic acids and flavone derivatives in the MFDE, with rosmarinic acid and luteolin-7-O-glucoside being the main components. With an IC50 value of 0.285 mg/mL, it was found to be a strong DPPH radical scavenger. …

The crystal growth of potassium iodide was controlled by using the neutral organic 1,1′-bis(pyridin-4-ylmethyl)-2,2′-biimidazole (L) ligand as a modifier. The selected modifier allows the preservation of original cubic [K4I4] units and their arrangement into a linear ligand-supported 1D chain. The supported [K4I4] cubes are only slightly distorted compared to the cubes found in pure KI salt. The N–K binding of the ligand to the KI salt, as well as weak I⋯H, N⋯H, and N⋯I interactions, stabilizes the structure to create a unique 1D polymer of neutral potassium iodide ionic salt inside the [K4I4L4]n complex.
Combined effect of low-molecular-weight organic acids and creosote on phosphatase activities in sandy soil

This paper assesses the impact of creosote and low-molecular-weight organic acids (LMWOAs) on the activity of acid phosphomonoesterase, alkaline phosphomonoesterase, phosphotriesterase, and inorganic pyrophosphatase in soil. The experiment was carried out on loamy sand samples with organic carbon content of 8.71 g · kg -1 , with the following variable factors: dosages of creosote: 0, 0.5%, and 2.5%; type of LMWOAs: oxalic acid, tartaric acid, and citric acid in the amount of 50 mmol · kg -1 of soil; days of experiment: 1, 7, 14, 28, 56, 112. The current study used event-related brain potentials (ERPs) and behavioral measures to examine effects of genre awareness on sentence processing and evaluation. We hypothesized that genre awareness modulates effects of genre-typical manipulations. We manipulated instructions between participants, either specifying a genre (poetry) or not (neutral). Sentences contained genre-typical variations of semantic congruency (congruent/incongruent) and morpho-phonological features (archaic/contemporary inflections). Segnatamente, particolare attenzione viene dedicata all’elaborazione dottrinale sull’art. 40 Cost. e sulle teorie che inquadrano lo sciopero come diritto indivi - duale di libertà.
