Abstract A comparative study of phytochemicals content and biological properties of eight Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) populations (RO1–RO8) collected in different areas of Tunisia was carried out. Two of the main rosemary constituents, rosmarinic and carnosic acids, were quantified by an NMR technique. Carnosic acid content was higher than that of rosmarinic acid. The non-polar constituents were examined by GC and GC–MS. Dead wood profile of a semi-natural boreal forest – implications for sampling

Dead wood profile of a forest is a useful tool for describing forest characteristics and assessing forest disturbance history. Nevertheless, there are few studies on dead wood profiles, including both coarse and fine dead wood, and on the effect of sampling intensity on the dead wood estimates. In a semi-natural boreal forest, we measured every dead wood item over 2 cm in diameter from 80 study plots. From eight plots, we further recorded dead wood items below 2 cm in diameter. In this paper we present the theoretical foundations and the simulation results obtained with a new dynamic general equilibrium model developed at the Banco de España for the Spanish economy and the rest of Euro area. The model is designed to help in simulating the effect of alternative shocks on the main aggregate variables. This study investigates the gendered privacy practices and concerns on Facebook, by leaning on the idea of privacy management as a form of digital labour. We analyse if young Facebook users are more concerned about the privacy against other users than against Facebook as a company or against third-party partners. We also analyse if privacy concerns and visibility rules are differentiated by gender. Using a structured online survey, we collected responses from a sample of 813 Italian university students (aged 18-34).
