Some notes on a second-order random boundary value problem

We consider a two-point boundary value problem of second-order random differential equation. Using a variant of the α-ψ-contractive type mapping theorem in metric spaces, we show the existence of at least one solution.

This article presents the biography and intellectual legacy of Valencian sociologist Rafael L. Ninyoles (1943- 2019). It reviews his formative itinerary, his early contributions to the field of the sociology of language, his latest contributions to the sociology of cities and cultural spaces, and his key involvement in the promoti-on and consolidation of the sociological study of Valencian society. The article includes a note on public acknowledgements to the author, plus an annex with a selective bibliography aimed at serving the interested reader and the posthumous diffusion of Ninyoles? oeuvre.

Resumen El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo evaluar la incidencia de las prácticas verdes, la innovación sostenible y el manejo del desperdicio alimentario en la construcción del capital de marca de los restaurantes. A partir de una investigación cuantitativa dirigida a responsables de restaurantes en Ecuador, se obtuvieron 120 cuestionarios válidos que permitieron estimar un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales a través de la regresión de mínimos cuadrados parciales. OBJECTIVES A publication discussing the need for dentists to possess knowledge to identify the child abuse and dental neglect. MATERIALS AND METHODS In present paper the various aspects of the problem are analyzed, both from a clinical point of view and from a medico-legal one, without neglecting normative standards and the obligations held by each and every health professional. After a brief excursus about how time has been perceived and considered the problem, we analyze the major risk factors and injuries of dental interest. Report of a european collaborative exercise comparing DNA typing results using a single locus VNTR probe

A collaborative exercise was carried out in 1989 among 12 European forensic laboratories using the single locus VNTR probe pYNH24, the restriction enzyme HinfI, the same set of human genomic DNA samples, and a standardized DNA size marker. The objectives of the exercise were: (1) to study the degree of variation within and between laboratories, (2) to obtain information on requirements for technical standardization allowing the exchange of typing results and (3) to compare different approaches for the identification of allelic DNA fragments of unknown size.
