The execution of the Granada Metropolitan’s underground line made possible the discovery of archeological remains of a water tank in Alcázar Genil, a royal muslim residence of the 13th century. The water tank, 419 × 88 ft, was destroyed at its ends due to the growth of the city of Granada during the 20th century and today remains only its center section, under Camino de Ronda, exactly where the future Metropolitan will take place. The location of an underground station will allow the recovery, the integration and the exhibition of the archaeological remains of this water tank. ABSTRACTPresenting the structure equation of a hom-Lie algebra 𝔤, as the vanishing of the self commutator of a coderivation of some associative comultiplication, we define up to homotopy hom-Lie algebras, which yields the general hom-Lie algebra cohomology with value in a module. If the hom-Lie algebra is quadratic, using the Pinczon bracket on skew symmetric multilinear forms on 𝔤, we express this theory in the space of forms. If the hom-Lie algebra is symmetric, it is possible to associate to each module a quadratic hom-Lie algebra and describe the cohomology with value in the module.

On codimension two embeddings up to link-homotopy

We consider knotted annuli in 4-space, called 2-string-links, which are knotted surfaces in codimension two that are naturally related, via closure operations, to both 2-links and 2-torus links. We classify 2-string-links up to link-homotopy by means of a 4-dimensional version of Milnor invariants. The key to our proof is that any 2-string link is link-homotopic to a ribbon one; this allows to use the homotopy classification obtained in the ribbon case by P. Bellingeri and the authors. Along the way, we give a Roseman-type result for immersed surfaces in 4-space. We also discuss the case of ribbon k-string links, for $k\geq 3$.

The integration process was very difficult for the millions of Germans evicted from the eastern territories at the end of WWII. The numerous newspapers that they published in FRG testify to their unique identity. This sector of the press reflects a large social group. One can find there the integration problems as well as the political claims of the evicted Germans. The Grafschafter Bote is a newspaper aimed at the Germans who were evicted from the County of Glatz (pol. Ziemia Kłodzka) in Silesia.
