El presente texto analiza la función de la producción de imágenes (fotográficas, pictóricas, cinematográficas, arquitectónicas) en la mitología franquista que se refiere a la guerra civil. El Alcázar de Toledo fue un escenario emblemático de la guerra, un lugar de memoria por su resistencia, pero también un edificio aureolado de historia. Abstract Background The TGFβ1-induced signal transduction processes involved in growth and differentiation are only partly known. The three-dimensional epithelial differentiation model, in which T84 epithelial cells are induced to differentiate either with TGFβ1 or IMR-90 mesenchymal cell-secreted soluble factors, is previously shown to model epithelial cell differentiation seen in intestine. Psychometric properties of the MOBITEC-GP mobile application for real-life mobility assessment in older adults

Aim of this study was to test the reliability and validity of the life-space measures and walking speed delivered by the MOBITEC-GP app. Participants underwent several supervised walking speed assessments as well as a 1-week life-space assessment during two assessment sessions 9 days apart. Fifty-seven older adults (47.4% male, mean age= 75.3 (±5.9) years) were included in the study. The MOBITEC-GP app showed moderate to excellent test-retest reliability (ICCs between 0.584 and 0.920) and validity (ICCs between 0.468 and 0.950) of walking speed measurements of 50 meters and above and of most 1-week life-space parameters, including life-space area, time spent out-of-home, and action range. A luminal glycoprotein drives dose-dependent diameter expansion of the Drosophila melanogaster hindgut tube

An important step in epithelial organ development is size maturation of the organ lumen to attain correct dimensions. Here we show that the regulated expression of Tenectin (Tnc) is critical to shape the Drosophila melanogaster hindgut tube. Tnc is a secreted protein that fills the embryonic hindgut lumen during tube diameter expansion. Inside the lumen, Tnc contributes to detectable O-Glycans and forms a dense striated matrix. Loss of tnc causes a narrow hindgut tube, while Tnc over-expression drives tube dilation in a dose-dependent manner. Background: Children generally have a higher nasal resistance than adults. Growth changes the size and different anthropometric parameters of the nose. Logarithmic effective resistance and logarithmic vertex resistance were introduced as physically correct parameters for nasal obstruction. The previously published classification of obstruction derived from 36,500 measurements is missing data for patients aged 7 to 19 years. Methodology: Rhinomanometry was performed before and after decongestion with 9 different anthropometric measurements in 225 children and adolescents.
