Noetherian type in topological products

The cardinal invariant "Noetherian type" of a topological space $X$ (Nt(X)) was introduced by Peregudov in 1997 to deal with base properties that were studied by the Russian School as early as 1976. We study its behavior in products and box-products of topological spaces. We prove in Section 2: 1) There are spaces $X$ and $Y$ such that $Nt(X \times Y) < \min\{Nt(X), Nt(Y)\}$. 2) In several classes of compact spaces, the Noetherian type is preserved by the operations of forming a square and of passing to a dense subspace. Constrained differential inclusions with nonlocal initial conditions

International audience; We show existence for the perturbed sweeping process with nonlocal initial conditions under very general hypotheses. Periodic, anti-periodic, mean value and multipoints conditions are included in this study. We give abstract results for differential inclusions with nonlocal initial conditions through bounding functions and tangential conditions. Some applications to differential complementarity systems and to vector hysteresis are given.

In particular, we are interested in the sweeping process and its variants. Tämä pro gradu -työ on sekundääritutkimuksena tehty kirjallisuuskatsaus energiatehokkuuden tarkastelusta langattomissa verkoissa. Työssä tarkastellaan erilaisia mobiiliverkkojen energiansäästömahdollisuuksia. Pääpaino työssä on suunnattu erityisesti 3G ja LTE -verkkoihin, kuitenkin eksoottisempiakaan verkkoja unohtamatta. Työ alkaa erilaisten mobiiliverkkojen energiansäästösyiden ja tutkimusmotivaattoreiden tunnistamisella ja jatkuu langattomien verkkojen energian kulutuksen jaotuksella, sekä erilaisten energiansäästömahdollisuuksien vertailuilla. LTE is rapidly gaining momentum for building future 4G cellular systems, and real operational networks are under deployment worldwide. To achieve high throughput performance, in addition to an advanced physical layer design LTE exploits a combination of sophisticated mechanisms at the radio resource management layer.
