Linear dynamics induced by odometers

Weighted shifts are an important concrete class of operators in linear dynamics. In particular, they are an essential tool in distinguishing variety dynamical properties. Recently, a systematic study of dynamical properties of composition operators on $L^p$ spaces has been initiated. This class of operators includes weighted shifts and also allows flexibility in construction of other concrete examples. In this article, we study one such concrete class of operators, namely composition operators induced by measures on odometers. In particular, we study measures on odometers which induce mixing and transitive linear operators on $L^p$ spaces.

Mango (Mangifera indica L.) quality is strongly influenced by genotype but individuating the most appropriate harvesting time is essential to obtain high quality fruits. In this trial we studied the influences of the ripening stage at harvest (mature-ripe or green-ripe) on quality of ready to eat mango fruits from nine cultivars (Carrie, Keitt, Glenn, Manzanillo, Maya, Rosa, Osteen, Tommy Atkins and Kensington Pride) grown in the Mediterranean subtropical climate through physicochemical, nutraceutical, and sensory analysis. Tra i numerosi eventi distruttivi che hanno coinvolto il territorio siciliano in età moderna, il terremoto del 1542 in Val di Noto si presenta come una catastrofe di entità ancora oggi indecifrabile e poco indagata per i danni subiti dagli edifici monumentali sia delle grandi città che dei centri minori colpiti, ma soprattutto per le ripercussioni successive. El antiguo Retablo de santa María de Elche: obra de Antonio Caro y Tomás Sanchis

Tradicionalmente se ha convenido en señalar que la iglesia de santa María de Elche contaba, hacia 1675, con un retablo que para algunos inauguraba la implantación de la columna salomónica en la zona alicantina. En este estudio se presenta la documentación que confirma su autoría por parte de Antonio Caro I 'el Viejo', y Tomás Sanchis, asociados para ello en compañía artística. Además, se desvela la verdadera historia de la obra en el contexto constructivo de la iglesia y se aporta nueva información sobre los escultores que de alguna manera estuvieron vinculados a ella, como José Villanueva, Pedro Juan Tahuenga o Nicolás de Bussy.
