Consumer Acceptance and Use of Instagram

This study extends the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model to investigate factors affecting the acceptance and use of a social networking service (SNS) called Instagram. The UTAUT2 model is modified to better suit the context of SNSs by replacing the price value construct with self-congruence. Furthermore, we explore the effects of behavioral intention and use behavior on "user indegree" defined as the number of people who follow an SNS user. Justification of point electrode models in electrical impedance tomography

The most accurate model for real-life electrical impedance tomography is the complete electrode model, which takes into account electrode shapes and (usually unknown) contact impedances at electrode-object interfaces. When the electrodes are small, however, it is tempting to formally replace them by point sources. This simplifies the model considerably and completely eliminates the effect of contact impedance. There are two competing hypotheses explaining how innovativeness influences the survival of startups: On the one hand, innovativeness is argued to foster survival-enhancing attributes (e.g., market power and cost efficiency) and capabilities (e.g., absorptive capacity). The Journal of Management Inquiry astutely predicted in 2004 that the Americanization of business education would not just continue but increase. Ten years later, it is arguable that the acceleration of the Americanization of management education has exceeded all expectations. To theoretically build toward understanding how and why the American business education model has been adopted to different extents, this comparative study builds on the institutional logics perspective, arguing that different institutional logics can potentially explain the various forms and patterns of Americanization and how they are manifested in the world’s business schools.
