Through this work we carry out a dissertation on the phenomenon of economic violence, as a manifestation of gender violence, in the family context, and, especially, from the perspective of the divorce framework. We will analyze the harmful effects that it produces, the damage that it triggers on the most basic and essential interests of the family, and its use as a control mechanism by the aggressors. This article focuses on skilled migration flows from Southern Europe into Mexico. From semi-structured interviews with Spanish and Italian immigrants living in four Mexican cities of Mexico, it addresses both reasons for immigration and labour incorporation in Mexican labour markets. Specifically, it explores: i) the role of the economic crisis and the lack of good employment in the countries of origin as a key factor when deciding an international migration; ii) the employment opportunities offered in Mexican labour markets for the highly-skilled immigrants, and iii) the role played by the Mexican state and its current immigration law when channelling this group into the labour market
Growth and convergence in Africa: The impact of spatial effects

The aim of this paper is to study the impact of spatial effects on convergence process in Africa over the period 1975-2000. Taking into account these effects through the methodology of Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA) and spatial econometrics, we focus on the geographical dimension of economic convergence of African countries. This allows us to deal with spatial autocorrelation which is a consequence of econometric interdependences due to geographic spillovers. In economies in which pension obligations are substantial, it is important that there is a high degree of trust in the financial reporting of pensions by employers and by pension plans. The objective of this paper is to assess legal considerations regarding the introduction and implement of financial transaction tax mechanisms in private pension system. In line with this objective, an understanding of causes, implications, solutions for pensions is essential to being able to efficiently and effectively create a secure fiscal environment.
Neoclassical Growth, Environment and Technological Change: The Environmental Kuznets Curve

The paper investigates socially optimal patterns of economic growth and environmental quality in a neoclassical growth model with endogenous technological progress. In the model, the environmental quality affects positively not only to utility but also to production. However, cleaner technologies can be used in the economy whether a part of the output is used in environmentally oriented R&D. Se abordan aquí tres aspectos relativos a la Ley española de eutanasia, promulgada el 24 de marzo de 2021, que resultan especialmente problemáticos: la falsa configuración de la eutanasia como un ?derecho subjetivo?, el falso protagonismo de la autonomía del sujeto y la calificación de la eutanasia como ?muerte natural?. Se sostiene la tesis de que la ley solo ha despenalizado el delito eutanásico cuando se realiza de acuerdo con los requisitos legales; de que no existe un derecho a la muerte y por tanto no es la voluntad del solicitante la que determina la prestación eutanásica y las repercusiones que se producirán en diversos ámbitos por la calificación de muerte natural.
