We respond to the paper of Kruse-Plass et al. (Environ Sci Eur 29:12, 2017), published in this journal, regarding the risk to non-target lepidopteran larvae exposed to pollen from one or more of three Bt maize events (MON810, Bt11 and 1507). We emphasise that what is important for environmental risk assessment is not the number of pollen grains per se, but the degree of exposure of a NT lepidopteran larva to Bt protein contained in maize pollen. In international, Italian, French and German public collections, but also among private collections, there are architectural drawings by the quadrature painter Tarquinio Ligustri da Viterbo, made after 1596 and depicting portals of his invention. This corpus is mostly unpublished and has remained anonymous for centuries. This paper deals with a novel single-point strategy for the detection of prevailing harmonic sources downstream or upstream the metering section in three-phase power systems. It is an enhancement of a previous strategy, already developed by the authors and it is based on the comparison of three non-active power quantities which are based on the IEEE Std. 1459-2000 approach. The method does not require any spectral analysis of voltages and currents because it is based only on the separation of the fundamental components from the harmonic content of voltage and current. Due to the troubled events that accompanied its discovery, the hoard IGCH 2258 has been neglected by scientific studies. The recent examination conducted at the Coin Cabinet of the Museum “A. Salinas "in Palermo, where the complex is kept, and the analysis of the archive documentation of the Museum and Central Archives of the State of Rome allowed to clarify the composition of the complex and to provide more precise information on the place of discovery, allowing to exploit the informative potential of this hoard.

Si presenta una nuova antologia manoscritta di canzoni siciliane, conservata a Catania presso un privato e databile intorno al 1600, che contiene una cospicua sezione di più di cinquanta ‘ottave’ intestate a vari autori accanto a 349 'canzuni' in massima parte adespote. Tra i «Problemi redazionali» emersi in fase di controllo e organizzazione dei materiali giunti dalla campagna di rilevamenti dell’Atlante Linguistico del Mediterraneo (ALM), Berruto (1971-1973) rileva la proliferazione e l’eterogeneità di alcune scelte grafemiche operate da diversi raccoglitori che, impegnati in una trascrizione più o meno puntuale delle risposte ottenute, avevano interpretato e risolto variamente alcune delle indicazioni previste nel sistema di trascrizione fonetica che accompagnava il Questionario.
