Manifolds of quasiconformal mappings and the nonlinear Beltrami equation

In this paper we show that the homeomorphic solutions to each nonlinear Beltrami equation $\partial_{\bar{z}} f = \mathcal{H}(z, \partial_{z} f)$ generate a two-dimensional manifold of quasiconformal mappings $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{H}} \subset W^{1,2}_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{C})$. Moreover, we show that under regularity assumptions on $\mathcal{H}$, the manifold $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{H}}$ defines the structure function $\mathcal{H}$ uniquely.

Removable sets for intrinsic metric and for holomorphic functions

We study the subsets of metric spaces that are negligible for the infimal length of connecting curves; such sets are called metrically removable. In particular, we show that every totally disconnected set with finite Hausdorff measure of codimension 1 is metrically removable, which answers a question raised by Hakobyan and Herron. The metrically removable sets are shown to be related to other classes of "thin" sets that appeared in the literature. They are also related to the removability problems for classes of holomorphic functions with restrictions on the derivative.

Introducción: La obesidad infantil está alcanzando cifras muy elevadas entre la población infantil española favoreciendo la obesidad en la edad adulta. El objetivo del presente estudio es conocer el estado nutricional de estudiantes de seis colegios de la provincia de Valencia y su grado de adhesión a la Dieta Mediterránea (DM).Material y métodos: Estudio transversal en el que participaron 777 estudiantes, 49,9% eran chicos y 50,1% chicas con edades comprendidas entre 8 y 16 años. Se realiza una valoración de los logros alcanzados por la revista RENHyD en estos últimos años, así como por aquellas acciones desarrolladas que han conllevado resultados no satisfactorios. Las lecciones aprendidas, en este recorrido, han ayudado a definir las líneas estratégicas a desarrollar en este próximo año. Estas líneas que se presentan tienen por finalidad incrementar la calidad formal de la revista de acuerdo con los estándares internacionales, lo cual posibilitará la indexación en más bases de datos bibliográficas de ámbito internacional.
