[EN] HRMAS NMR is considered a valuable technique to obtain detailed metabolic profile of unprocessed tissues. To properly interpret the HRMAS metabolomic results, detailed information of the actual state of the sample inside the rotor is needed. MRM (Magnetic Resonance Microscopy) was applied for obtaining structural and spatially localized metabolic information of the samples inside the HRMAS rotors. The tissue was observed stuck to the rotor wall under the effect of HRMAS spinning. MRM spectroscopy showed a transference of metabolites from the tissue to the medium. AbstractHuman cytomegalovirus (HCMV) encodes four glycoproteins, termed gpUS2, gpUS3, gpUS6 and gpUS11 that interfere with MHC class I biosynthesis and antigen presentation. Despite gpUS2–11 expression, however, HCMV infection is efficiently controlled by cytolytic CD8 T lymphocytes (CTL). To address the role of gpUS2 and gpUS11 in antigen presentation during viral infection, HCMV mutants were generated that expressed either gpUS2 or gpUS11 alone without coexpression of the three other proteins. The aim of this paper is to study the associated primes of powers of square-free monomial ideals. Each square-free monomial ideal corresponds uniquely to a finite simple hypergraph via the cover ideal construction, and vice versa. Let H be a finite simple hypergraph and J(H) the cover ideal of H. We define the shadows of hypergraph, H, described as a collection of smaller hypergraphs related to H under some conditions. We then investigate how the shadows of H preserve information about the associated primes of the powers of J(H). Improved Hölder regularity for strongly elliptic PDEs

We establish surprising improved Schauder regularity properties for solutions to the Leray-Lions divergence type equation in the plane. The results are achieved by studying the nonlinear Beltrami equation and making use of special new relations between these two equations. In particular, we show that solutions to an autonomous Beltrami equation enjoy a quantitative improved degree of H\"older regularity, higher than what is given by the classical exponent $1/K$.

Isolation frequency and efficiency of mycoparasitic Pythium species in the West Mediterranean region of Turkey

Abstract A total of 132 mycoparasitic Pythium isolates were obtained from the soil samples taken from fruit orchards, vegetable fields, carnation greenhouses, sugarbeet fields and cereal fields in the West Mediterranean region of Turkey. The Oomycetes were isolated by using; surface soil dilution plate, sclerotia bait and precolonised plate methods. Isolates were identified as P. acanthophoron, P. amasculinum, P. lycopersicum, P. oligandrum, P. periplocum and P. paroecandrum, according to their morphological and molecular characteristics.
