International audience; This study opposes, on the one hand, the concept exposed by linguist and theoretician Charles Nodier (1780-1844) in his Elementary Notions in Linguistics (1834) referring to the inalterable spelling of proper nouns, and, on the other hand, his practice as a storyteller and creator in his Trilby (1822). Negli ultimi anni, nuovi e importanti contributi hanno ricostruito il dibattito intorno alla Legge 180 del 1978, con attenzione tanto al quadro nazionale quanto alle specificità locali. Rimane però poco esplorata la questione del superamento del manicomio al Sud, e in Sicilia in particolare. Il saggio intende presentare i primi risultati di una ricerca sulla ricezione del dibattito sulla rivoluzione psichiatrica nel Mezzogiorno, e propone una riflessione sul complesso quadro in cui nel decennio 1968-78 nell’isola hanno luogo, seppure a macchia di leopardo, intense esperienze di lotta anti-istituzionale.

Psychometric Properties of the Brazilian Version of GOHAI among Community-Dwelling Elderly People

This study assessed the psychometric properties of the Brazilian version of the Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI). A representative sample of 613 community-dwelling elderly people aged from 65 to 74 years was selected. Sociodemographic data, GOHAI and self-perceived oral health measures were collected. Dental clinical measures were obtained through oral examinations. The dimensional structure and adequacy of components were assessed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), inter-item correlations and item–scale correlations. Abstract Purpose The aim of this study is evaluate the efficacy of TachoSil® patches in controlling suture-hole bleeding after elective infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) replacement with Dacron graft. Materials and methods Patients undergoing elective replacement of infrarenal AAA with Dacron grafts were prospectively randomized to TachoSil® patches (Group I) or standard compression with surgical swabs (Group II). Cystic mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lung: a case report.

Abstract Mucinous cystic tumors of the lung are uncommon, the preoperative pathologic diagnosis is difficult and their biological behavior is still controversial. We report the case of a patient with a clinically benign cystic lesion that post-operatively showed to be consistent with an invasive adenocarcinoma arising in a mucinous cystadenoma of the lung, We underline the difficulty of the clinical pre-operative diagnosis of this cystic neoplasia radiologically mimicking a hydatid cyst, and we report the negative TTF1 immunostaining potentially misleading in the differential diagnosis with metastatic mucinous carcinomas.
