b) the same par condicio creditorum principle and the consequent possibility of intervention of third party in the execution. It concludes however that a revolution like the aforesaid explained would be only apparently advantageouOld and new problems related to the intervention of creditors in the expropriation (marginal notes at Cass. Sez. Un. January 7 2014 n. 61) Moving from the decision of the Sezioni Unite n. 61/2014 the author takes the opportunity to re-examine old and new problems related to the intervention of creditors in the forceable execution. The first major theme concerns par condicio creditorum which is examined in its evolutionary history since the Code Napoleon through its period of maximum extension (the Code of 1940) until its reduction as a result of the reforms of 2005. The author examines the possibility to overcome quoad effectum the distinction between sine titulo et cum titulo interveners in light of jurisprudence’s evolution between 1978 2009 and 2014. The possibility in particular concerns those creditors sine titulo the where credit has not been contested (ex art. 499 c.p.c.) by the debtor seek payment and partecipate to distribution. In the last section the author examines the possibilities for other creditors to contest the intervention of the creditor sine titulo ex art. 499 c.p.c. (utendo iuribus in subrogation in case of inaction of the debtor) or in the distribution phase ex art. 512 c.p.c. He concludes that the only person that will be really damaged if he doesn’t contest - ex art. 499 c.p.c. - the credit it is precisely the debtor. He also notes that in the legislation of the last decade the apparent effort to reduce the numbers of judicial enquiry incidental to forceable execution will never be achieved unless it’s eliminated in radice: a) the existence in our system of extrajudicial enforcement titulaSettore IUS/15 - Diritto Processuale Civilesince it would lead to increase autonomous expropriations (one for each creditor who can today intervene) and to increment judicial enquiries in order to form enforceable judgments

New Polylactic Acid Composites Reinforced with Artichoke Fibers

2015

In this work, artichoke fibers were used for the first time to prepare poly(lactic acid) (PLA)-based biocomposites. In particular, two PLA/artichoke composites with the same fiber loading (10% w/w) were prepared by the film-stacking method: the first one (UNID) reinforced with unidirectional long artichoke fibers, the second one (RANDOM) reinforced by randomly-oriented long artichoke fibers. Both composites were mechanically characterized in tensile mode by quasi-static and dynamic mechanical tests. The morphology of the fracture surfaces was analyzed through scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Moreover, a theoretical model, i.e., Hill's method, was used to fit the experimental Young's modu…

Hedysarum coronarium-Based Green Composites Prepared by Compression Molding and Fused Deposition Modeling

2022

In this work, an innovative green composite was produced by adding Hedysarum coronarium (HC) flour to a starch-based biodegradable polymer (Mater-Bi®, MB). The flour was obtained by grinding together stems, leaves and flowers and subsequently sieving it, selecting a fraction from 75 μm to 300 μm. Four formulations have been produced by compression molding (CM) and fused deposition modeling (FDM) by adding 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of HC to MB. The influence of filler content on the processability was tested, and rheological, morphological and mechanical properties of composites were also assessed. Through CM, it was possible to obtain easily homogeneous samples with all filler amounts.…

Creep Behavior of Poly(lactic acid) Based Biocomposites

2017

Polymer composites containing natural fibers are receiving growing attention as possible alternatives for composites containing synthetic fibers. The use of biodegradable matrices obtained from renewable sources in replacement for synthetic ones is also increasing. However, only limited information is available about the creep behavior of the obtained composites. In this work, the tensile creep behavior of PLA based composites, containing flax and jute twill weave woven fabrics, produced through compression molding, was investigated. Tensile creep tests were performed at different temperatures (i.e., 40 and 60 °C). The results showed that the creep behavior of the composites is strongly inf…

Grp78 overexpression triggers pink1-ip3 r-mediated neuroprotective mitophagy

2021

An experimental model of spinal root avulsion (RA) is useful to study causal molecular programs that drive retrograde neurodegeneration after neuron-target disconnection. This neurode-generative process shares common characteristics with neuronal disease-related processes such as the presence of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and autophagy flux blockage. We previously found that the overexpression of GRP78 promoted motoneuronal neuroprotection after RA. After that, we aimed to unravel the underlying mechanism by carrying out a comparative unbiased proteomic analysis and pharmacological and genetic interventions. Unexpectedly, mitochondrial factors turned out to be most altered when GRP78…

La religión del cuerpo-mercancía: ¿un nuevo opio del pueblo?

2018

The commercial exploitation or more precisely the total capitalist management of the human body erects this as a universal divinity. The direct consequence of this generalized corporal capitalism is the massive depoliticization of the body and, often, the reflection that is dedicated to it. In this article, we seek to reflect on the current practices of bodily modifications within the framework of the changes in the regimes of neoliberal governance in recent decades. This reflection is guided by the revision of central texts of critical theory

Reinforcement Efficiency of Cellulose Microfibers for the Tensile Stiffness and Strength of Rigid Low-Density Polyurethane Foams

2020

Rigid low-density closed-cell polyurethane (PU) foams are widely used in both thermal insulation and structural applications. The sustainability of PU foam production can be increased by using bio-based components and fillers that ensure both enhanced mechanical properties and higher renewable material content. Such bio-based foams were produced using polyols derived from rapeseed oil and microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) fibers as filler. The effect of MCC fiber loading of up to 10 wt % on the morphology, tensile stiffness, and strength of foams has been evaluated. For estimation of the mechanical reinforcement efficiency of foams, a model allowing for the partial alignment of filler fibers…

The impact of the age of vines on soil hydraulic conductivity in vineyards in eastern Spain

2017

Soil infiltration processes manage runoff generation, which in turn affects soil erosion. There is limited information on infiltration rates. In this study, the impact of vine age on soil bulk density (BD) and hydraulic conductivity (Ks) was assessed on a loam soil tilled by chisel plough. Soil sampling was conducted in the inter row area of six vineyards, which differed by the age from planting: 0 (Age 0; just planted), 1, 3, 6, 13, and 25 years (Age 1, Age 3, Age 6, Age 13, and Age 25, respectively). The One Ponding Depth (OPD) approach was applied to ring infiltration data to estimate soil Ks with an α* parameter equal to 0.012 mm-1. Soil bulk density for Age 0 was about 1.5 times greate…
