Tradisjonelt har religionsfaget stått sentralt i formidlingen av skolens kristne verdigrunnlag, men med KRL-faget er ikke dette lenger så selvsagt. På grunn av samfunnsutviklingen står både opplæringslovens kristne verdiforankring og skolens religionsundervisning i dag under debatt. I det følgende vil jeg se nærmere på den historiske utviklingen som har ført oss frem til dagens omdiskuterte religionsfag, kristendoms-, religions- og livssynskunnskap.

Objectives This study examines the relationships between socio-economic status, psychosocial factors, health-related behaviours and the incidence of dental caries amongst 12-year-old schoolchildren living in deprived communities in Manaus, Brazil. Formålet med avhandlingen er å undersøke hvordan lærebøker i matematikk behandler problemløsning og algebra, avgrenset til heuristiske tilnærmingsmåter og introduksjonen av algebra. Studien består av tre deler og fokuserer på matematiske metoder og matematisk innhold i seks lærebøker brukt på ungdomstrinnet i Norge. Først undersøker jeg hvordan lærebøkene behandler ni velkjente heuristiske tilnærmingsmåter ved å studere eksemplene og deres løsningsmetoder. Deretter blir introduksjonen av algebra studert i to deler. Den første tar for seg teksten og eksemplene som forfatterne anvender, og i den andre studeres oppgavene som lærebøkene tilbyr elevene.
