Una pregunta que nos podemos hacer respecto l la certificación en la norma ISO 9000 de calidad es que si en verdad sirve para algo o si sólo es plasmar por escrito lo que se hace habitualmente en la empresa, esta pregunta la hemos realizado en una encuesta realizada a las empresas certificadas de la Comunidad Valencia, junto a otras para averiguar si la implantación origina un incremento de productividad, y la importancia que le dan las empresas a los costes cuando se decide implantar los sistemas de calidad. In this paper, we address a class of specially structured problems that include speed planning, for mobile robots and robotic manipulators, and dynamic programming. We develop two new numerical procedures, that apply to the general case and to the linear subcase. With numerical experiments, we show that the proposed algorithms outperform generic commercial solvers.

This study explores perceptual organisation and shape perception when viewing a tetragon and an additional element (a dot) that is located at varying positions and distances next to the tetragon. The aim of the study is to determine the factors that can alter the interpretation of object configuration and impact whether the presented tetragon is perceived as a diamond or a square. The Mediational Role of Coping Strategies in the Relationship Between Self-Esteem and Risk of Internet Addiction

The aim of the present study is to explore, through a mediation model, the relationship among self-esteem, coping strategies, and the risk of Internet addiction in a sample of 300 Italian university students. We submitted the data to a descriptive, mediational comparison between variables (t-test), and correlational statistical analyses. The results confirmed the effect of self-esteem on the risk of Internet addiction. However, we found that the introduction of coping strategies as a mediator gives rise to partial mediation. A low level of self-esteem is a predictor of avoidance-oriented coping that, in turn, affects the risk of Internet addiction.

Resumo Este artigo tem por objetivo oferecer um primeiro diagnóstico sobre os níveis de qualidade de vida dos trabalhadores brasileiros que prestam cuidados paliativos. Foram aplicadas escalas de medidas de qualidade de vida profissional, en-frentamento ante a morte, autocuidado profissional e autoconsciência em 161 profissionais. As análises de dados incluíram estatísticas descritivas, comparação dos níveis em função de sexo, idade e outras características sociodemográficas, e estudo da relação entre as variáveis mencionadas.
