Post-tonal music often poses perceptual and cognitive challenges for listeners, potentially related to the use of relatively uncommon and unfamiliar musical material and compositional processes. As a basic compositional device, repetition affects memory for music and is structured by composers in very different ways across tonal and post-tonal musical repertoires. Gene flow shapes spatial genetic structure and the potential for local adaptation. Among marine animals with nonmigratory adults, the presence or absence of a pelagic larval stage is thought to be a key determinant in shaping gene flow and the genetic structure of populations. In addition, the spatial distribution of suitable habitats is expected to influence the distribution of biological populations and their connectivity patterns. Is Leader Developing Behavior related to Employees' Health Complaints? A Multilevel Investigation

The goals of this study were to ascertain whether a specific leadership behavior (developing subordinates) is related to employees' health complaints and determine some of the underlying mechanisms involved. The hypothesized relationships were investigated in a sample composed of 538 employees working in 170 work-units of a public regional health service. Multilevel structural equation modeling was used to estimate the hypothesized relationships at the individual and work-unit levels. Literature on the automaticity of social behavior indicates that, in some circumstances, priming a concept automatically activates related behavioral schemas. Previous research studies have used priming techniques to increase willingness to help, but most of these have simply measured intention to engage in prosocial behavior rather than real helping behavior. Es este trabajo presentamos los resultados de una encuesta realizada a las empresas certificadas en la Norma ISO 9000 de calidad de la Comunidad Valenciana. En ella se analiza el conocimiento y la utilización de diversas herramientas de análisis y resolución de problemas, por diferentes variables, como, tamaño, sectores, antigüedad en la certificación, etc. También analizamos como el conocimiento y la utilización de estas herramientas esta relacionado con otras variables como la reducción de costes, el incremento de productividad, la gestión excelente, la medición de los costes de calidad etc.

Luku perustuu väitöskirjani Muistojen ja kansallisen historiakulttuurin rajapinnoilla. Viron neuvostoaika kolmen sukupolven kertomana (2021) lukuun, jossa käsittelen eri-ikäisten virolaisten muistoja ja mielikuvia elämästä neuvosto-Virossa. Väitöskirjassani tutkin neuvostoajan muistelemista virolaisissa perheissä ja yksityisen muistelun suhdetta laajemman tason virolaiseen historiakulttuuriin. Muistojen periytyvyyttä tarkastellaan kolmen sukupolven sisällä. Tutkimukseni pohjautuu haastatteluihin, jotka olen toteuttanut vuosina 2018–2019 suullisina yksilöhaastatteluina viron kielellä joko haastateltavien kodeissa tai heidän valitsemissaan paikoissa. peerReviewed
