Terveydenhoitolehdessä, joka oli ensimmäisen suurelle yleisölle suunnattu suomenkielinen terveysvalistuslehti, otettiin kantaa työn ja hyvinvoinnin, tai tarkemmin sanottuna, hyvän ja onnellisen elämän väliseen suhteeseen. La destrucció del patrimoni artístic i la seua reconstrucció. Un exercici de microhistòria: el cas de Llíria i la Confraria de la Sang (1936-1949)

The problem of artistic destruction and its reconstruction has been little studied. Using a microhistorical analysis method, we study the town of Lliria (Valencia) and its brotherhood of ?La Sang de Jesucrist? (had a great heritage from the 16th to the 19th centuries), and we also analyze how and why this destruction and reconstruction was generated during the context of the civil war. We use and combine different sources (public of the ?Causa General? and private of the ?Minute Books?) for this research, with the intention of specifying the analysis of this complex process. Time-like Proton Form Factors with Initial State Radiation Technique

Electromagnetic form factors are fundamental quantities describing the internal structure of hadrons. They can be measured with scattering processes in the space-like region and annihilation processes in the time-like region. The two regions are connected by crossing symmetry. The measurements of the proton electromagnetic form factors in the time-like region using the initial state radiation technique are reviewed. Recent experimental studies have shown that initial state radiation processes at high luminosity electron-positron colliders can be effectively used to probe the electromagnetic structure of hadrons. A Time-Non-Homogeneous Double-Ended Queue with Failures and Repairs and Its Continuous Approximation

We consider a time-non-homogeneous double-ended queue subject to catastrophes and repairs. The catastrophes occur according to a non-homogeneous Poisson process and lead the system into a state of failure. Instantaneously, the system is put under repair, such that repair time is governed by a time-varying intensity function. We analyze the transient and the asymptotic behavior of the queueing system. Moreover, we derive a heavy-traffic approximation that allows approximating the state of the systems by a time-non-homogeneous Wiener process subject to jumps to a spurious state (due to catastrophes) and random returns to the zero state (due to repairs). Summary This article covers some technical aspects about the product topology which are usually not given much of a thought in mathematics and standard literature like [7] and [6], not even by Bourbaki in [4]. Positive solutions for nonlinear Robin problems

We consider a parametric Robin problem driven by the p-Laplacian with an indefinite potential and with a superlinear reaction term which does not satisfy the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition. We look for positive solutions. We prove a bifurcation-type theorem describing the nonexistence, existence and multiplicity of positive solutions as the parameter varies. We also show the existence of a minimal positive solution $\tilde{u}_\lambda$ and establish the monotonicity and continuity of the map $\lambda\to \tilde{u}_\lambda$.
