This paper presents a theoretical description of the process-oriented research method in translation studies known as the think aloud method and a case study of an experimental application of think-aloud protocols (TAP). The article begins with a brief description of the relevance of its topic, taking into account the state of current researches in the field of translation studies. Quantitative approaches for evaluating the influence of films using the IMDb database

[EN] Why do films certain remain influential throughout film history? The purpose of this paper is to attempt to answer this question. To do so, we adopt some quantitative approaches that facilitate an objective interpretation of the data. The data source we have chosen for this study is the Internet Online Movie Database (IMDb), and in particular, one of its sections called "Connections", which lists references made to a film in subsequent movies and references made in the film itself to previous ones. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the second quotation of the Euripidean fr. 964 N 2 in the De indolentia, a Galenic treatise recently saved from oblivion thanks to Antoine Pietrobelli, is in fact an interpolation due to the enterprise of a scribe. The argumentation is based on words coming immediately before and after the presumed quotation.
Short communication: Driftwood provides reliable chronological markers in Arctic coastal deposits

Originating from the boreal forest and often transported over large distances, driftwood characterizes many Arctic coastlines. Here we present a combined assessment of radiocarbon (14C) and dendrochronological (ring width) age estimates of driftwood samples to constrain the progradation of two Holocene beach-ridge systems near the Lena Delta in the Siberian Arctic (Laptev Sea). Our data show that the 14C ages obtained on syndepositional driftwood from beach deposits yield surprisingly coherent chronologies for the coastal evolution of the field sites. Klimt artwork: red-pigment material investigation by backscattering Fe-57 Mössbauer spectroscopy, SEM and p-XRF

Material tests were performed on a rediscovered Klimt-artwork "Trompetender Putto". We performed studies on the red colored spots, mainly taken from non-restored parts. MIMOS II Fe-57 Mossbauer spectroscopy (novelty in art-pigment analysis) mainly reveals haematite and crystallized goethite in red colors. Electron microscopy can identify various layers of the original and overpainting of an artwork. The number of layers fluctuates between three and four chemically painted areas. The portable X-ray fluorescence analysis enables to reduce the pigment list to containing mercury (cinnabar), lead, zinc, iron and titanium. Infrared-light-irradiation visualizes the different age of the pigments.
