This interview with Micheál Ó Nualláin, Brian O’Nolan’s brother and the only surviving member of his generation of the family, was conducted on 10 June 2014 in Monkstown, County Dublin. Its purpose was to obtain information about Brian O’Nolan’s private library at the John J. Burns Library, Boston College; the archive being the focal point of this issue of The Parish Review. It was Micheál who sold the last of his brother’s effects to Boston College in May 1997 and therefore he is in a position to answer questions about the purchase of the library, its contents and their provenance, and the reading practices of Brian and Evelyn O’Nolan.To read the article, click Download or View PDF.

Šajā darbā tiek sniegts arī ieskats par vispārējo situāciju, attiecīgajās hronoloģiskajās robežās, Latvijas Evaņģēliski luteriskajā Baznīcā, par cik Lielvārdes evaņģēliski luteriskā Baznīca ir tās struktūrdaļa. Baznīca, kā ēka, ir nozīmīgs kultūras piemineklis, tāpēc darbā ir sniegts arī tās tehniskais un estētiskais apraksts minētajā laika posmā. Previous crustal models of the High Atlas suppose the existence of a mid-crustal detachment where all the surface thrusts merged and below which the lower crust was continuous. However, both seismic refraction data and gravity modeling detected a jump in crustal thickness between the High Atlas and the northern plains. Here we show that this rapid and vertical jump in the depth of Moho discontinuity suggests that a thrust fault may penetrate the lower crust and offset the Moho (deep-rooted “thick skinned” model). L’article analitza diverses estratègies utilitzades per dues poetes catalanes, Maria-Mercè Marçal i Dolors Miquel, per desconstruir els discursos mitjançant els quals s’han construït els rols de gènere. Assenyalarem algunes coincidències entre les dues poetes com el fet que ambdues reformulin els estereotips femenins, que presentin un jo líric fragmentat i canviant, i que dialoguin amb les sagrades escriptures, reescrivint el parenostre i feminitzant Déu. Tant Maria-Mercè Marçal com Dolors Miquel aborden a través del discurs poètic alguns dels anhels, propostes i debats dels moviments feministes contemporanis.

Dans un contexte de fortes mutations et de réflexion autour du devenir des métiers de la santé et de l’appareil de formation qui leur est dédié en France, les formateurs et les directeurs des Instituts de Formation en Soins Infirmiers sont amenés à travailler à la construction et à la promotion du projet pédagogique de leur établissement. Au quotidien, leurs pratiques individuelles montrent combien leur lecture de la réalité de travail est singulière et se trouve en partie corrélée à leur professionnalité. A partir des significations que chacun d’eux exprime, la coopération entre ces professionnels semble se construire très progressivement à la croisée des problématiques communicationnelles…
