Tässä tutkimuksessa kuvataan taloudellisen diskurssin muutosta Suomen eduskunnassa keynesiläisyydestä monetarismiin sekä tähän muutokseen yhdistettävästä pääomamarkkinoiden vapauttamisesta käytyä eduskuntadiskurssia. L’objet de notre étude est de situer l’œuvre de Philippe Pinel (1745-1826) : Traité médico-philosophique sur l’aliénation mentale ou la manie, publié en 1801, dans l’histoire de la psychiatrie française et espagnole. Après un rapide rappel de ce qu’était le traitement de la folie depuis l’Antiquité jusqu’au XIXe siècle pour mieux juger de l’importance de Pinel, nous analysons les répercussions de ce traité, non seulement en France mais aussi en Espagne où il fut introduit grâce à la traduction de Luis Guarnerio y Allavena, Tratado médico-filosófico de la enagenación del alma o manía, publiée en 1804. The aim was to describe longitudinal trends in peak oxygen uptake (VO2peak) among 14- to 19-year-old adolescents in Norway, and to examine effects of sex, body mass index (BMI), and physical activity (PA) level on VO2peak during adolescence. Of 124 invited students from two lower secondary schools in Norway, 116 eighth-grade students (61 boys and 55 girls; 14 years old at baseline) volunteered to participate. The study has a longitudinal design with 6 yearly repeated measures of body height and mass, VO2peak and PA level. A strain of Neofusicoccum parvum isolated from declining vines was pathogenic to grapevine cultivar Inzolia in Sicily. This strain produced some metabolites in liquid medium. Crude extract, through a bio-guided purification process, yielded four naphthalenone polyketides. Cold exposure promotes glucose oxidation and modulates the lipid metabolism in adipose tissue, but it is still not fully clear whether cold exposure could affect meat quality and fatty acid metabolism in skeletal muscle of pig in vivo. Here, we kept finishing pigs under cold or room temperature overnight and determined the effects of cold exposure on meat quality, fatty acids composition and transcriptional changes in skeletal muscle of pigs. The aims of this study were two-fold: (1) to inspect separately for the relative age and birthplace effects for players selected in the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft; (2) to explore the interaction among these factors and analyse this interaction in players' career performance. The database was obtained from the official records of the players (n = 1,738), who were selected during the annual editions of the NBA Draft from 1990 to 2019.
