The aim of the present study was to analyze the growth and physiological performance of two coexisting species, Trifolium fragiferum, and Trifolium repens, under the effect of NaCl and rhizobial symbiosis. Seeds of T. fragiferum and T. repens were collected from populations in the wild, and plants were cultivated in an automated greenhouse, two plants per container. Three basic types of planting were performed: (1) both plants were T. fragiferum (single species), (2) one T. fragiferum and one T. repens (species coexistence), (3) both plants were T. repens (single species). Sports-related pain and injury is directly linked to tissue inflammation, thus involving the autonomic nervous system (ANS). In the present experimental study, we disable the sympathetic part of the ANS by applying a stellate ganglion block (SGB) in an experimental model of delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) of the biceps muscle. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of rule changes on game-related statistics in men's water polo matches. A total of 856 men's matches played in all Olympic Games and World Championship since 1936 was analysed. The game-related statistics considered were: total goals, winners' goals, losers' goals, goals per minute, goals difference, relationship difference goals and total goals, and relationship difference goals and winners' goals. I denne studien undersøker vi hvilke minner som kommer til syne når unge voksne møter barndommens nærnatur igjen, og hvordan kan vi forstå disse minnene. Arbeidet tar utgangspunkt i en kulturell fenomenologisk forståelse. Åtte unge voksne har gått tilbake til sine barndomssteder i skolens nærnatur sammen med en av forskerne. De har gått, klatret og snakket om friluftsliv, lek og lekesteder ute i barndommen. Metoden åpner for å studere komplekse, kroppsliggjorte og stedsspesifikke minner og erfaringer knyttet til konkrete steder, aktiviteter og sosiale relasjoner. Kuopiossa toimi vuosina 1980-1986 uusekspressionistinen kuvataiteilijaryhmittymä, jolle annettiin mediassa nimitys Kuopion koulu. Väljän ryhmän ydinhenkilöitä olivat Markku Kolehmainen (s. 1951), Pentti Meklin (s. 1952), Pauno Pohjolainen (s. 1949) ja Teemu Saukkonen (s. 1954). Artikkelissani tutkin ja erittelen tapoja, joilla kriitikot ja muut journalistit puhuivat ilmiöstä ajan lehtiartikkeleissa. Lisäksi tutkin yleisönosastokeskustelua, jota käytiin Kuopion kuvataiteilijat ry Ars Liberan ja Kuopion kaupungin julkishallinnon välillä sekä Ars Liberan vanhemman ja nuoremman taiteilijasukupolven välillä. Artikkelini aiheena ovat Kuopion koulun taiteilijoiden naisaiheiset teokset. Kuopion kouluksi tai koulukunnaksi kutsuttiin väljää kuvataiteilijoiden ryhmää, jonka ydinhenkilöitä olivat Pauno Pohjolainen (s. 1949), Markku Kolehmainen (s. 1951), Pentti Meklin (s. 1952) ja Teemu Saukkonen (s. 1954). Tarkastelemani teokset ajoittuvat vuosille 1980‒1986 ja ovat ilmaisultaan suurimmaksi osaksi uusekspressionistisia. Analysoin, millaisena nainen esitetään Kuopion koulun teoksissa. Teokset kuvaavat, miten nainen on ylistetty, alistettu ja ylistämällä alistettu, mutta myös voimakas ja tasa-arvoinen. 1980-luvulla teokset provosoivat ja kyseenalaistivat porvarillisia arvoja kuten saksalainen ekspressi…
