Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is associated with a high risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular (CV) disease. Contributing pathophysiologic factors include endothelial dysfunction caused by excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), increased activity of nuclear factor kB (NFkB), altered macrophage polarization, and reduced synthesis of endothelial progenitor cells (EPC). Consequently, there can be a potentially rapid progression of the atherosclerotic disease with a higher propensity to unstable plaque, leading to increased cardiovascular mortality. Summary Variation in the strength of age-dependent natural selection shapes differences in ageing rates across species and populations. Likewise, sexual selection can promote divergent patterns of senescence across the sexes. The objective of this article is to analyse methodological principles in studies that link the construction of memory with decolonisation. Based on two decolonial approaches, the colonial and epistemic difference, a comparative study of collaborative research on memory in Latin America was carried out. This analysis contributes to the conceptual-critical reflection of the construction of memory in a decolonial framing and presents through innovative methodologies meaning shifts of official narratives. In conclusion, it proposes the integration of the territorial dimension and the subjectivity of the participants and their communities as a way of transformation towards peaceful societies

Katra sieviete noteiktā dzīves posmā saskaras ar menopauzi un tās nevēlajamām blaknēm, tāpēc ir svarīgi kā šo diskomfortu ikdienā var mazināt bez medikamentu palīdzības. Darba mērķis ir, apkopot jau veikto pētījumu rezultātus un analizēt aptaujas rezultātus, lai izprastu pareizu fizisko aktivitāšu izvēles nozīmi, sievitēm pēc menopauzes. Anketēšanā piedalījās 71. sieviete vecumā no 42 līdz 68 gadiem, kura piekrita anonīmi atbildēt uz 10 jautājumiem par pieredzētajiem menopauzes simtomiem, to intensitāti, un fizisko aktivitāšu daudzumu ikdienā. En este artículo se analiza la diferente reacción que los mercados laborales italiano y español han tenido ante la crisis económica: la tasa de paro italiana entre 2006 y 2012, ha crecido relativamente poco (pasando del 7,6 al 10,9%) mientras que la es-pañola se ha casi triplicado, pasando del 9 al 24,4%. Para ello se han analizado datos relativos a: el mercado del trabajo, la situación socioeconómica y la legislación exis-tente.
