This study examined how social media (Twitter and LinkedIn) relates to the operating revenue by investigating the effect of the use of social media by the board of directors. To tackle this question, we analyzed the mediating and moderating relationship of social media on the effect of board size in operating revenue (turnover). We studied the implications of the use of social media by the board members by using structural equation modeling (SEM). The data consisted of a random sample of 100 companies listed on the NASDAQ. La presente ricerca si proponeva l’obiettivo generale di analizzare le pratiche di socializzazione etnica che caratterizzano le madri immigrate indagando, in particolare, il ruolo che alcune variabili giocano sulle stesse. I risultati hanno confermato l’importanza dell’origine delle madri e del periodo di tempo trascorso dall’immigrazione. Background On-going global climate change poses a serious threat for natural populations unless they are able to evolutionarily adapt to changing environmental conditions (e.g. increasing average temperatures, occurrence of extreme weather events).
