Economical evaluation of ecological benefits of the demand side management

Environmental pollution and over-exploitation of non-renewable sources to find energy are current topics for the modern world that is now at having to deal with several issues such as the greenhouse effect, acid rain and climate change. In this study, the economical estimate of the savings in carbon dioxide obtained with a careful management of electrical loads is presented. Four particular scenarios are designed as case studies: Italy, France, United Kingdom and Germany. A comparison is presented with a similar study, made in 2007, when green energies were not yet very developed.

A Self-Contained Biometric Sensor for Ubiquitous Authentication

This paper describes a real-life behavior framework in simulation game based on Probabilistic State Machine (PSM) with Gaussian random distribution. According to the dynamic environment information, NPC can generate behavior planning autonomously associated with defined FSM. After planning process, we illuminate Gaussian probabilistic function for real-life action simulation in time and spatial domains. The expected value of distribution is estimated during behavior planning process and variance is determined by NPC personality in order to realize real life behavior simulation. This study aims to understand, through explanatory research, the key factors that led to the 2017 measles outbreak in Italy, the causes of the low level of immunisation and the causes of possible cyclical phenomena of measles epidemics. This topic's comprehension has required a holistic approach, merging epidemiological aspects, socioeconomic aspects (including the evolution of mistrust in vaccinations, infodemy and fake news) and health law constraints.
