Abstract Phthalonitrile, acetoxime and cobalt(II) nitrate hexahydrate are combined in acetone with formation of stable and easy to handle Co(II) complex [Co{C6H4C(NH2)NC(ONCMe2)2}2](NO3)2 (1). Interaction of 1 with excess alcohols ROH (also used as solvents) and 2 equiv of (NH4)2S leads, in one-step, to alkyl 2-carbamimidoylbenzoate nitrates [C6H4COOR{2-C(NH2)2}]NO3 [R=CH3, C2H5, C3H7, CH(CH3)2]. Similarly, N1,N3-dialkyl-1H-isoindole-1,3-diaminate nitrates [C6H4C(NR′)NC(NR′)]NO3 [R=C3H7, C4H9, C(CH3)3, CH2CH2OH, CH2CH2SC2H5) can be directly produced from 1 by its reaction with 4 equiv of amines and 2 equiv of (NH4)2S in alcoholic media.

Abstract Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensors are widely explored due their ultra-sensitivity to even a minute alteration of refractive index. Knowledge of adsorption processes could be exploited to explain the performance and interaction mechanism of an SPR sensor. Here in, we report the fitting of the experimental SPR sensing data during the detection of low concentrations of acetone vapour (0.5-5 ppm) using the linearized and non-linearized format of the Langmuir and the Freundlich isotherm models. New 68Ge/68Ga radionuclide generators provide the positron emitter 68Ga (T½ = 67.7 min) as an easily available and relatively inexpensive source of a PET nuclide for labeling of interesting targeting vectors. However, currently available “ionic” 68Ge/68Ga radionuclide generators are not necessarily optimized for the routine synthesis of 68Ga-labeled radiopharmaceuticals in a clinical environment. Post-processing of 68Ge/68Ga generators using cation exchange resins provides chemically and radiochemically pure 68Ga with 97±2% within less than 4 min, with 68Ge almost completely removed, and ready for online labeling. Um die Kinetik des oxidativen Abbaus nativer Cellulose viskosimetrisch verfolgen zu konnen, mussen neue [η]-M-Eichbeziehungen aufgestellt werden, da die Behandlung der Cellulose mit konzentriertem Alkali den Staudingerindex [η] erniedrigt, ohne das Molekulargewicht M zu verandern. Imidazole-4-carbinols from Iminoesters and Dihydroxyacetone Imidazole-4-carbinols 3 with functional groups at C-atom 2 are obtained from iminoesters 1 and dihydroxyacetone (2) in liquid ammonia under pressure.

Post-processing by means of a cation-exchanger–based protocol is an efficient strategy for purification and concentration of generator-derived 68Ga. It ensures the removal of 68Ge before 68Ga-radiopharmaceutical preparation and high labeling yields of 68Ga-labeled radiopharmaceuticals for routine medical application. The title compound, C23H28O2, was obtained from the reaction of acetone with meta-cresol. The molecular structure consists of two identical subunits which are nearly perpendicular to each other. The oxygen-containing rings are not planar and the molecule is chiral. The crystal structure consists of chains of molecules of the same chirality arranged along the [010] axis.
