Selective CO 2 Sorption Using Compartmentalized Coordination Polymers with Discrete Voids**

Carbon capture and storage with porous materials is one of the most promising technologies to minimize CO2 release into the atmosphere. Here, we report a family of compartmentalized coordination polymers (CCPs) capable of capturing gas molecules in a selective manner based on two novel tetrazole-based ligands. Crystal structures have been modelled theoretically under the Density Functional Theory (DFT) revealing the presence of discrete voids of 380 A3 . Single gas adsorption isotherms of N2 , CH4 and CO2 have been measured, obtaining a loading capacity of 0.6, 1.7 and 2.2 molecules/void at 10 bar and at 298 K for the best performing material. Exposure of a THF solution of tantalocene dichloride complexes (η 5 -Cp*)TaCl 2 (η 5 -C 5 H 4 -SiMe 3 ) (1) and (η 5 -Cp*)TaCl 2 (η 5 -C 5 H 5 ) (2) to the ambient atmosphere for 12 h leads to the formation of new tantalum(V) cationic hydroxo complexes [(η 5 -Cp*)TaCl(OH)(η 5 -C 5 H 4 SiMe 3 )] + -Cl- (3) and [(η 5 -Cp*)TaCl(OH)(η 5 -C 5 H 5 )]+Cl - (4). This oxidation reaction is more rapid under oxygen atmosphere since the hydroxo complexes are obtained in better yields within only 15 min. The purpose of this study was to i) examine reliability and construct validity of the pictorial scale of Perceived Movement Skill Competence (PMSC) aligned to the third version of the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-3) in a sample of Spanish children; and to ii) analyse the validity of the PMSC and children’s perceived motor competence (MC) according to gender.
