L'andamento della attivazione della glicina e stato seguito sino alla neurulazione. Il quantitativo di amino acidi attivati e minimo nell'uovo vergine, esso aumenta rapidamente dopo la fecondazione. Durante la gastrulazione la attivazione della glicina raggiunge i valori maggiori.

Maturation of barley cysteine endopeptidase B (EPB) in Trichoderma reesei was studied with metabolic inhibitors, Western blotting, and immuno microscopy. The inactive 42-kDa recombinant EPB proprotein, first detected in apical cells, was sequentially processed in a time-dependent manner to a secreted polypeptide of 38.5 kDa, and thereafter, to polypeptides of 37.5, 35.5, and 32 kDa exhibiting enzyme activity both in the hyphae and culture medium. We have analysed the effect of oxidative guanine lesions on the expression of a transfected reporter gene in mouse embryonic fibroblasts deficient in Cockayne syndrome B protein (Csb) and/or the 8-oxoguanine DNA glycosylase (Ogg1). We used a highly sensitive flow cytometry-based approach and quantitative real-time PCR to measure the changes in gene expression caused by the presence of oxidised guanine residues generated by photosensitisation in the vector DNA. SUMMARY The aim of this study was to examine the immunomodulating effects of rhIL-12 on the immune response induced by hepatitis B virus (HBV) antigens in clinical subgroups of patients with HBV infection.
