Constructing knowledge : epistemic practices in three television interview genres

This study analyses epistemic practices in broadcast television interviews, focusing on three different interview genres: celebrity interviews, sports interviews and political interviews. In the analysis I examine the linguistic and interactional practices that are used to construct knowledge in the interviews. These practices include mobilization of different types of knowledge, use of assessments to invite first-hand knowledge, negotiation of epistemic stances while disaligning with the question, and use of assessments for claiming or contesting epistemic rights to authority and expertise. Article addresses the impact of elDAS regulation and the new definition of a document on practical aspects of authentication electronic copies of the document in regard to amended article 97 of Polish Notary Act. Author summarizes functions of document and comparizes definition between document in Polish Civil Code as well as electronic document in elDAS Regulation. The merits of the thesis is the analysis of electronic document authentication. Author expresses important issues in the field of electronic document authentication describing trusted services which may be of use in authentication.

This paper aims to clarify the role of broadcast media in disaster preparedness education concerning natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. This is done by means of a systematic review of the scientific literature on this topic over the last 10 years. The results show that media information is a strong facilitator of awareness of disasters. Preparedness includes action to reduce risks, which also needs community interaction, resources and motivation. It adds to indigenous knowledge and experience of disasters, and may combine self-education by the media, school education and community efforts for disaster risk reduction.
