Political corruption is a universal phenomenon. Even though it is a cross-country reality, its level of intensity and the manner of its effect vary worldwide. In Spain, the demonstrated political corruption cases that have been echoed by the media in recent years for their economic, judicial and social significance are merely the tip of the iceberg as regards a problem hidden by many interested parties, plus the shortage of the means to fight against it. Mathematics Skills of Kosovar Primary School Children: A Special View on Children with Mathematical Learning Difficulties

The present study examined the development of mathematics skills of Kosovar primary school children in terms of their gender, living area, socio-economic status, and achievement level. A special emphasis was placed on longitudinal investigations of the development of mathemat-ics skills in children with learning difficulties in mathematics over a 2-year and 4-month period. Participants were 553 fourth-graders, 85 of whom identified with mathematical learning difficulties were classified into two subgroups: children with low mathematics achievement and children with limited mathematics ability. La present tesi doctoral analitza l’evolució del discurs sobre el medi ambient en la societat valenciana des de finals del franquisme fins a la consolidació de la democràcia. La recerca pren com a punt de partida la campanya contra la urbanització de la Devesa del Saler per part del diari “Las Provincias” en els anys setanta, una de les primeres campanyes ambientals de l’estat espanyol a favor d’un espai natural i que es pot entendre com els inicis del periodisme ambiental al País Valencià.
