Wines and spirits in the comprehensive and economic trade agreement (CETA): an analysis

2021

The paper analyzed the Annex dedicated to win…

Un adieu au macho espagnol ibérique? Une analyse de la masculinité en Espagne. Échanges avec des experts

2019

The traditional model of masculinity in Spain (the so-called Spanish Macho) is heir to a long tradition of understanding how masculinity is framed as an omnipotent model assuming that “a man has license to do whatever he wants”. This idealized behavioral pattern is slowly changing in Spain, as it accompanies the transformations in Spanish society. Certain public policies have provided momentum for a change in the way that the issue of gender in general and gender violence in particular are approached. A study carried out under the auspices of the University of Valencia between 2013 and 2015 interviewed experts and activists from an association of men seeking equality with women in an attemp…

2013

Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma on osa Jyväskylän yliopistossa vuosina 2005–2011 toteutettua Dialogiset ja narratiiviset prosessit masennuksen pariterapiassa (DINADEP) -tutkimusprojektia. Teoreettisena lähtökohtana tutkielmassa olivat yleisesti toisiin sovittautuminen vuorovaikutustilanteissa, liikkeiden ja eleiden synkronoituminen, dialogi, edellä mainittujen ilmeneminen psykoterapiassa sekä liikkeiden ja eleiden synkronoitu…

The Reason of Imagination. The Blazing Worlds of Margaret Cavendish and Siri Hustvedt

2020

One of the peculiarities of 17th and 18th centuries literature is the link between knowledge and imagination, a relationship in which narration sometimes accompanies science, sometimes goes beyond it. The idea of imagination as a true means of knowledge is the subject of Margaret Cavendish’s best known work, The Blazing World (1666), where her alter ego is free to built a whole social and philosophical system based on corporality and subjectivity. From the same conception of imagination starts Siri Hustvedt when in 2014 rewrites The Blazing World: the story of an artist who still in the twentieth century tries to face the overwhelming misogyny with the performance of the body and the theory…

Modeling Political Corruption in Spain

2021

Political corruption is a universal phenomenon. Even though it is a cross-country reality, its level of intensity and the manner of its effect vary worldwide. In Spain, the demonstrated political corruption cases that have been echoed by the media in recent years for their economic, judicial and social significance are merely the tip of the iceberg as regards a problem hidden by many interested parties, plus the shortage of the means to fight against it. This study models and quantifies the population at risk of committing political corruption in Spain by identifying and quantifying the drivers that explain political corruption. Having quantified the problem, the model allows changes to be …

Los grafitos mayas. Clasificación tipológica y aproximación a su significado

2019
