L'elemento doveva appartenere all'apparato decorativo di una chiesa, è databile al V-VI secolo d.C. E' decorato con croci ed elementi vegetali e presenta anche il tema, non comune, dei serpenti che affiancano la croce.

BACKGROUND: The loss of corticosteroid efficacy is an important issue in severe asthma management and may lead to poor asthma control and deterioration of airflow. Recent data indicate that Mucin 1 (MUC1) membrane mucin can mediate corticosteroid efficacy in chronic rhinosinusitis, but the role of MUC1 in uncontrolled severe asthma is unknown. Abstract Purpose Men and women typically display different neuromuscular characteristics, force–velocity relationships, and differing strength deficit (upper vs. lower body). Thus, it is not clear how previous recommendations for training with velocity-loss resistance training based on data in men will apply to women. The differential charged jet cross sections, jet fragmentation distributions, and jet shapes are measured in minimum bias proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed from charged particle momenta in the mid-rapidity region using the sequential recombination $k_{\rm T}$ and anti-$k_{\rm T}$ as well as the SISCone jet finding algorithms with several resolution parameters in the range $R=0.2$ to $0.6$. Differential jet production cross sections measured with the three jet finders are in agreement in the transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) interval $20<p_{\rm T}^{\rm jet,ch}<100$ GeV/$c$. Predicted gamma-ray image of SN 1006 due to inverse Compton emission

We propose a method to synthesize the inverse Compton (IC) gamma-ray image of a supernova remnant starting from the radio (or hard X-ray) map and using results of the spatially resolved X-ray spectral analysis. The method is successfully applied to SN 1006. We found that synthesized IC gamma-ray images of SN 1006 show morphology in nice agreement with that reported by the H.E.S.S. collaboration. The good correlation found between the observed very-high energy gamma-ray and X-ray/radio appearance can be considered as an evidence that the gamma-ray emission of SN 1006 observed by H.E.S.S. is leptonic in origin, though the hadronic origin may not be excluded.

This paper analyzes the concepts of simulacrum, adresser and adressee in the field of advertising. The latter is discussed in a semiotic and linguistic perspective. Inspired by the concept of semiosphere and other sociological perspectives, we study the simulacrum and its representation in the advertising discourse. To do so, we had to take into account the adressee of the advertising messages through intentionality and subjectivity issues, or, in other words, through the questions of interpretation.

La SAG è un problema clinico-sociale in quanto nel 95% dei casi genera l'iperandrogenismo dei neonati di sesso femminile. Il trattamento più effettuato in corso di virilizzazzione dei genitali femminili esterni è di tipo chirurgico (genitoplastica). Tradicionalmente, los tubos fotomultiplicadores (PMTs, en inglés) acoplados a cristales centelleadores han jugado un papel dominante en la detección de rayos gamma.
