Nykyinen käsitys vieraiden kielten opettamisesta Suomessa painottaa kielen lisäksi myös kohdekulttuurin tuntemusta. Kielen opetuksessa tulisi huomioida sen kulttuurinen konteksti. Anti-HCV tests were positive in 18–45% of sera from patients with autoimmune chronic active hepatitis. High gammaglobulin levels may result in false positive results, however, some sera show true positivity. PCR testing of such sera is necessary in order to determine whether HCV is directly involved in specific forms of the disease.
MZ-35, a new layered pentasil borosilicate synthesized in the presence of large alkali cations

Abstract A new layered borosilicate has been synthesized in the presence of cesium and sodium cations and its structure has been solved by a combination of automated diffraction tomography (ADT) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD). MZ-35 has a composition NaCs 2 [BSi 7 O 16 (OH) 2 ](OH) 2 ·4H 2 O and features space group P-4m2. The unusually small unit cell ( a 7.3081 A, c 10.7520 A) is shared by two random-stacked configurations of the structure: a network of connected pentasil units related to the layer of RUB-18 and a bidimensional checkerboard of intersecting ladders of 4-membered rings. IntroductionDrowning due to driving into floodwater accounts for a significant proportion of all deaths by drowning. Despite awareness campaigns such as 'If it's flooded, forget it', people continue to drive into floodwater. This causes loss of life, risk to rescuers and damage to vehicles. Diffusion of Drone Journalism: the Case of Finland, 2011-2020

This article details Finnish news organizations’ adoption of drones for journalistic purposes from 2011 to 2020. The theoretical starting point of the article is Rogers’ (1962) diffusion of innovations theory, which explains how new ideas and technologies spread in societies. The main empirical data for the study were derived from a phone survey conducted among the 80 most popular newspapers in Finland. The findings reveal that drone journalism in Finland has already diffused from a few pioneering organizations to a large number of newsrooms, including regional, mid-sized newspapers. Abstract A number of complexes have been prepared by the reaction between 2,2′-azopyridine(AZP) and tin(IV) halides and organotin(IV) halides, and characterized by elemental analysis and infrared and variable temperature 119Sn Mossbauer spectroscopies. All of the new compounds have 1:1 stoichiometry, with the AZP ligand occupying two coordination sites by bonding through one of the ring and one of the azo group nitrogen atoms, to give rise to distorted octahedral structures. In the diorganotin complexes the two organic groups occupy trans positions. The infrared and Mossbauer spectroscopic data suggest that these compounds are monomeric in the solid state.

Aims To study how MTHFR 677C→T genotype modulates the effect of supplementation with B-vitamins on total homocysteine (tHcy) and B-vitamin concentrations. Methods 2381 patients with a personal history of cardiovascular disease were randomly assigned to one of four groups: 1) B-vitamins alone (560 μg of 5-methyl-THF, 3 mg of vitamin B6 and 20 μg of vitamin B12), 2) n-3 fatty acids alone (600 mg of EPA and DHA in a 2:1 ratio), 3) B-vitamins and n-3 fatty acids, and 4) placebo. Several of these obesity-related morbidities are associated with greater risk for death with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 penetrates human cells through direct binding with angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 receptors on the cell surface.
