Contextual and structural metadata in enterprise document management

Väitöskirjatutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin dokumenttikokoelmiin liittyvän, dokumenttien tuottamisympäristöstä ja dokumenttien loogisesta rakenteesta kertovan tiedon keräämistä ja hyödyntämistä. Dokumenttien tuottamisympäristöä kuvaavaa tietoa kutsutaan kontekstimetatiedoksi ja loogisen rakenteen kuvausta rakennemetatiedoksi. Tässä laadullisessa tutkimuksessa selvitettiin teknologian ja sukupuolikehyksessä tarkastellun teknologisen toimijuuden ilmenemistä lasten kuvakirjoissa. Koska kuvakirjoja käytetään varhaiskasvatuksessa usein pedagogisena työvälineenä, tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten aineistoon kuuluvat kirjat soveltuisivat käytettäväksi varhaisvuosien teknologiakasvatuksessa, erityisesti tyttöjen teknologisen toimijuuden tukemisen näkökulmasta. Tavoitteena oli myös selvittää, millä kriteereillä kuvakirjoja tulisi arvioida teknologiakasvatukseen soveltumisen kannalta. Background This article uses the logistic regression model for diagnostic decision making in patients with chronic nasal symptoms. We studied the ability of the logistic regression model, obtained by the evaluation of a database, to detect patients with positive allergy skin-prick test (SPT) and patients with negative SPT. The state of preservation of the bug Sehirus carpathiensis J.A. Lis, Vršanský & Schlögl, sp. n. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Cydnidae) from the Lakšárska Nová Ves Formation at Cerová (Slovakia) supports extremely rapid sinking and burial in upper bathyal Early Miocene sediments. The specimen originated from land at most a few kilometers away, but transport via a river can be excluded as the head and wings are still attached. Its most likely source based on fossil flora and the habitat of several living representatives of the genus is a riparian habitat in an adjacent area of land. This study profiles managers according to the ethical criteria they bring to their managerial decision making. Profiling was based on exploratory cluster analysis of responses of academics & students and small business managers to a multidimensional questionnaire. The data were collected through a self-reporting survey (n=82) administrated to the two cohorts. An agglomerative hierarchical cluster analysis was then performed to the two groups separately on the 8 ethical subscales from the Managerial Ethical Profile (MEP). Od wielu lat ślimaki lądowe rodzaju Helicidae pełnią rolę luksusowego surowca spożywczego. Ich spożycie oscylujące wokół 40 tysięcy ton rocznie co dało początek idei hodowli fermowych ślimaków lądowych. Pojawił się również pomysł wykorzystania ich wydzieliny w produktach kosmetycznych o działaniu leczniczo-upiększającym. Śluz ze ślimaka wykazuje, m.in. właściwości: regenerujące, ochronne, przeciwzapalne, nawilżające, zwiększające elastyczność skóry. Celem pracy była analiza jakości sensorycznej autorskich receptur preparatów kosmetycznych zawierających śluz ze ślimaka.
