Lai to sasniegtu, tika veikts ārvalstu zinātnisko avotu teorētiskais apskats, sniedzot pašrunas definīciju, apskatot pētījumus par pašrunu un pašrunas mērīšanas instrumentus. Detalizētāk tika apskatītas Hardija (Hardy, 2006) un Brintapa (Brinthaupts et al., 2009) pašrunas teorijas, kā arī teorija par pašrunas saistību ar vispārējo pašefektivitāti, precizāk, ar verbālo pārliecināšanu. The ancient atomism inspires us to reconsider everything as being composed of indivisible entities, known today as quanta of actions. The quantum of light is the familiar single quantum in its open waveform. Likewise, any other physical action is a geometric notion in terms of energy and time. The quantized systems, e.g., elementary particles take forms of geodesics, i.e., paths of least action in quest for energetic balance with surrounding quanta. Leksell Gamma Knife is a mini-invasive technique to obtain a complete destruction of cerebral lesions delivering a single high dose radiation beam. Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging is increasingly utilized for radiation treatment planning. Nevertheless, lesion volume delineation in PET datasets is challenging because of the low spatial resolution and high noise level of PET images. Nowadays, the biological target volume (BTV) is manually contoured on PET studies. This procedure is time expensive and operator-dependent. During the last decades, great interest of the scientific community has been addressed to the estimation of geogenic Carbon degassing from tectonically active areas (Tamburello et al., 2018). Due to its high solubility in water, CO2 can be dissolved, transported and released to the atmosphere by groundwater. The quantity released by such process is probably of the same order of magnitude as that directly emitted from active volcanoes. The quantification of this contribution has a substantial implication for the modelling of the global atmospheric carbon cycle. Climate signatures on decadal to interdecadal time scales as obtained from mollusk shells (Arctica islandica) from Iceland

Abstract Pronounced decadal climate oscillations are detected in a multi-centennial record based on shell growth rates of the marine bivalve mollusk, Arctica islandica, from Iceland. The corresponding analysis of patterns in sea level pressure and temperature exhibit large-scale teleconnections with North Atlantic climate quantities. We find that the record projects onto blocking situations in the northern North Atlantic. The associated circulation shows a low-pressure signature over Greenland and the Labrador Sea and a high-pressure system over Western Europe associated with northeasterly flow towards Iceland and weakening in the westerly zonal flow over Europe.
