Rare‐earth cyclobutadienyl sandwich complexes: Synthesis, structure and dynamic magnetic properties

The potassium cyclobutadienyl [K2{η4‐C4(SiMe3)4}] (1) reacts with MCl3(THF)3.5 (M=Y, Dy) to give the first rare‐earth cyclobutadienyl complexes, that is, the complex anions [M{η4‐C4(SiMe3)4}{η4‐C4(SiMe3)3‐κ‐(CH2SiMe2}]2−, (2M), as their dipotassium salts. The tuck‐in alkyl ligand in 2M is thought to form through deprotonation of the “squarocene” complexes [M{η4‐C4(SiMe3)4}2]− by 1. Complex 2Dy is a single‐molecule magnet, but with prominent quantum tunneling. An anisotropy barrier of 323(22) cm−1 was determined for 2Dy in an applied field of 1 kOe, and magnetic hysteresis loops were observed up to 7 K. nonPeerReviewed

The purpose of this study is to describe and compare upper-level sport managers’ career success, career success variables and the associations between them. The perspective of gender equality is used. Three indicators of objective and subjective career success are used: pay (objective), career success satisfaction, and the balance between work and family/private life (subjective). The paper analyses two marches of resistance in Palermo with references to the public space as in Goheen’s (1998) theses. In the first one, the public space gradually loses relevance and presents the citizens as consumers; in the second one, it remains an arena of the fights of those groups that claim to visibility and recognition. The itinerant ritual of Wu Ming 2 and the last Gay Pride in Palermo are the two kinds of march capable of creating collective spaces. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin äitien ja esiopettajien sekä äitien ja ensimmäisen luokan opettajien luottamusta toisiinsa. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin myös ovatko äidin masennusoireet ovat yhteydessä luottamukseen opettajaa kohtaan. Lisäksi tutkittiin äitien ja opettajien luottamuksen yhteyksiä sekä sitä, selittävätkö taustatekijät (äidin koulutustaso, perhemuoto ja lapsen asema sisarussarjassa), äidin masennusoireiden ja opettajien tekemän arvion yhteyttä. The COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing measures targeting the transmission of the virus impacted everyday life in 2020. This study investigated pre- to in-pandemic changes in health behaviors and depressive symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of personality traits in these changes in Finland. This study investigated whether an internet-based intervention aimed at enhancing the psychological well-being of female soccer players before the competitive season could be effective approach to meet the needs of the players. Players (n= 43; 17–26 years old)on the four separated teams in Finland’shighest league were assigned to either a guided six-week online Acceptance and Commitment Therapy intervention (ACTi) or to a control condition (CON).
