Maģistra darba mērķis ir izveidot CCMV CP VLP konstrukcijas E.coli, kas paredzētas efektīvākai ķīmisko epitopu pievienošanai uz VLP virsmas un lielākai daļiņu stabilitātei. Maģistra darbs izstrādāts no 2016. gada septembra līdz 2018. gada maijam Latvijas Biomedicīnas pētījumu un studiju centrā, Augu virisoloģijas laboratorijā Dr. biol. Andra Zeltiņa un Dr. biol. Kielitaidon arviointiin vaikuttavat käsitykset kielitaidosta ja aikojen saatossa kielitaidon arviointi on muuttunut lähes mekaanisesta kielitaidon osa-alueiden mittaamisesta monipuolisempaan kielenkäytön arviointiin (ks. esim. A library of monoalkenylsilsesquioxanes as potential comonomers for synthesis of hybrid materials

In this paper we demonstrate a facile and efficient synthesis of monoalkenylsubstituted POSS compounds, i.e., R7(Si8O12)-alkenyl and R7(Si8O12)(OSiMe2)-alkenyl with a functional alkenyl group of chain length (from vinyl to dec-9-enyl, with or without additional –OSiMe2– spacer between the silsesquioxane core and alkenyl moiety) and with five types of inert groups (Et, iBu, iOc, Cy, Ph) at the POSS core. Taloustiede episteemisenä yhteisönä ja kamppailu asiantuntijuudesta

Artikkelissa tutkitaan taloustiedettä episteemisenä yhteisönä ja tämän episteemisen yhteisön käyttämiä retorisia keinoja rajojensa puolustamiseen. Episteemisen yhteisön teoria korostaa jaettuja metodologisia lähtökohtia ja arvolähtökohtia yhteisöjen koossapitävinä voimina, minkä lisäksi taloustiede on havaittu tutkimuksessa erityisen metodologisesti eristäytyneeksi. Artikkelissa eritellään taloustieteilijöiden episteemisen yhteisön suomalaisessa julkisuudessa käyttämiä retorisia strategioita sosiaalisesta mediasta kerätyn aineiston avulla. Aineistosta erottuvat strategiat ovat epäsymmetrinen näytön vaatiminen, auktoriteetin kieltäminen ja kaksoisstandardi.

Removal of alkylthiols from gold surface : molecular dynamics simulations in density functional theory

Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) are systems of organic compounds adsorbed onto metal or silicon, forming a dense cover on top of the substrate; the most studied system of SAMs consists of alkylthiols on gold surface. In 2012, Liao et al. found out, as a side-product of their chemical lift-off lithography research, that when the thiol cover was pulled off the gold surface, a layer of gold was also removed from the substrate.
