W artykule poruszony jest wątek prowokowania dzieci do aktywności twórczej, stosowany we Wrocławskiej Szkole Przyszłości. Jest to szkoła inna od tej tradycyjnej, ponieważ ważne miejsce zajmują w niej działania pobudzające wyobraźnię i twórcze myślenie, a wątek ekologiczny stanowi kluczowy kontekst tych działań. W artykule podkreśla się, że w tej szkole edukację traktuje się jako alternatywną wobec rozwiązań tradycyjnych, dając każdemu dziecku szansę rozwoju jego możliwości. Sprzyjają temu stosowane tam metody projektowania okazji edukacyjnych, w których dziecko prowokowane jest poprzez niekonwencjonalne formy do aktywności twórczej

Alternative representations of the city are not only a useful analysis tool, but they also provide elements of a conceived new version of lived space that can contribute to ameliorate the spatial justice of the city. This is even truer for intra-local spaces that are the reference scale for many public participation policies, grass-root projects and activists. In two years (2008 and 2009), the research centre Co.Ri.SSIA evalueted the suitability of compost obtained from organic municipal waste used a growth substrate for three varieties of ornamental chili pepper (Capsicum annuum). Research was carried out at the Orleans Experimental Farm at the University of Palermo. In addition to the control standard substrate (a 70:30 mix by volume of peat and perlite), three substrates were tested, formed by varying percentage mixes of compost, peat and perlite.
