Search for photonic signatures of gauge-mediated supersymmetry in 8TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

A search is presented for photonic signatures motivated by generalized models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking. This search makes use of 20.3 fb[superscript −1] of proton-proton collision data at √s = 8 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, and explores models dominated by both strong and electroweak production of supersymmetric partner states. Four experimental signatures incorporating an isolated photon and significant missing transverse momentum are explored. These signatures include events with an additional photon, lepton, b-quark jet, or jet activity not associated with any specific underlying quark flavor. Jebkura saziņa ietver sevī implicīto. Tā kā implicītā loma sinhronajā tulkošanā nav plaši aprakstīta, šajā maģistra darbā ir pētīts, kā sinhronie tulki strādā ar implicīto nozīmi politiskajā diskursā, kur netiešums ir plaši izmantota taktika. Darba teorētiskā daļa apskata implicītā jēdzienu un pozicionē to tulkošanas nozarē. Praktiskajā daļā ar kvantitatīvo, kvalitatīvo un salīdzinošo metožu palīdzību tiek analizēti 100 implicītā satura piemēri un to tulkojumi no četrām politiskām diskusijām. Rezultāti liecina, ka politiskais diskurss satur dažādus implicītās nozīmes veidus, kas nav vienlīdzīgi tulkošanas sarežģītības ziņā, un ka stratēģijas implicītā tulkošanai sniedz atšķirīgus rezultātus…

Šī pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt morālos spriedumus, emocionālo empātiju un uztverto sociālo atbalstu bērnu namos un ģimenēs dzīvojošajiem jauniešiem vecumā no 15 līdz 18 gadiem. Pētījumā tika noteikts vai pastāv atšķirības emocionālās empātijas, morālās spriešanas un uztvertā sociālā atbalsta rādītājos bērnu namos un ģimenēs dzīvojošiem jauniešiem. Un tika noskaidrot, vai uztvertais sociālais atbalsts prognozē morālās spriešanas spējas un emocionālo empātiju bērnu namos un ģimenēs dzīvojošiem jauniešiem. The precise determination of the polarization state of light is fundamental for a vast variety of applications in remote sensing, astronomy, optics and terahertz technology, to name just a few. Typically, polarization characterization is performed by using a combination of multiple optical devices such as beam splitters, polarizers, and waveplates. Moreover, to achieve high-precision, balanced photodetectors and lock-in amplifiers are employed, thus contributing to increasing system complexity.
