Bakalaura darba „Baikots kā politiskās rīcības līdzeklis” mērķis ir izpētīt baikota kā politiskās rīcības līdzekļa iespējas un ierobežojumus patērētājiem. Darbā tiek apskatīta sociālā kapitāla nozīme patērētājiem, patēriņa prakšu ietekme uz politiku un identificētas baikotētāju stratēģijas un prakses apzinīgajā patēriņā. Baikots ir politiskā patēriņa forma, kas veicina pārmaiņas sociālajā, ekonomiskajā un politiskajā sfērā valstī, korporācijās vai citās instancēs. Šī patēriņa praktizētāji ir ieinteresēti sevis un sabiedrības izglītošanā par resursu patēriņu un tā nesamērīga patēriņa ietekmi uz dabu. Caur baikotu patērētāji kultivē un nostiprina savu identitāti.

Bakulovirukset voivat tulevaisuudessa olla varteenotettava vaihtoehto kohdennettavana geeninsiirtovälineenä esimerkiksi syövän tai sydän- ja verisuonitautien hoidossa.Tutkimus osoittaa, että bakuloviruksen pinnalla voidaan tehokkaasti ilmentää vieraita molekyylejä liittämällä ne osaksi viruksen luonnollisia pintaproteiineja. Some behavioral challenges require rapid intervention and a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach from the teachers. An internationally recognized tool, TCM (Teacher Classroom Management), aims to support pupils' socio-emotional development, improve teacher-pupil interaction, and strengthen school-home cooperation. Plaušu vēzis ir izplatītākais audzējs pasaulē. Eiropā plaušu vēzis joprojām ir visbiežākais mirstības izraisītājs no vēža vīriešiem, savukārt, sievietēm otrais biežākais. Būtiska problēma ir salīdzinoši lielais smēķētāju skaits starp plaušu vēža pacientiem. Strauji aug pierādījumu skaits, kas norāda uz smēķēšanas atmešanas nozīmi arī pēc vēža diagnozes. Pētījuma mērķis ir: izvērtēt smēķēšanas ietekmi uz pretvēža terapiju, analizējot specifiskās terapijas laikā smēķējošiem un nesmēķējošiem plaušu vēža pacientiem ārstēšanas izraisītas toksicitātes pakāpes un bezprogresijas dzīvildzi. The alveolar region of the lung is an important target for drug and gene delivery approaches. Treatment with drugs is often necessary under pathophysiological conditions, in which there is acute inflammation of the target organ. Prangos ferulacea (L.) Lindl. (Fam. Apiaceae), is an orophilous species of eastern Mediterranean and western Asia which possesses several biological properties, which are worthy of exploitation in different fields. With the aim to provide new insights into the phytochemistry and pharmacology of this species, a local accession growing in Sicily (South Italy) was investigated as well. Notably, the P. ferulacea essential oil chemical composition and the antioxidant, anti-acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and cytotoxic activities have been studied.
