A Teaching proposal for the study of eigenvectors and eigenvalues

[EN] In this work, we present a teaching proposal which emphasizes on visualization and physical applications in the study of eigenvectors and eigenvalues. These concepts are introduced using the notion of the moment of inertia of a rigid body and the GeoGebra software. The proposal was motivated after observing students¿ difficulties when treating eigenvectors and eigenvalues from a geometric point of view. It was designed following a particular sequence of activities with the schema: exploration, introduction of concepts, structuring of knowledge and application, and considering the three worlds of mathematical thinking provided by Tall: embodied, symbolic and formal.

El principal objetivo de nuestro tra bajo es delimitar las prácticas de reciprocidad que se llevaron a cabo durante el período de tiempo analizado y que permitieron reproducirse socialmente a los grupos menos favorecidos por la guerra y la posguerra . Nuestro análisis demuestra que la alimentación es un sistema de comuni - cación mediante el cual se crean o mantienen prácticas de poder , así como expre - siones de identidad y/o defensa o ruptura de las normas morales que comparte un grupo social .

Background Faldaprevir (BI 201335) and deleobuvir (BI 207127) are direct-acting antiviral agents under development for the treatment of chronic HCV infection. This article describes the final results of the Phase Ib SOUND-C1 study that evaluated the interferon-free oral combination of faldaprevir, deleobuvir and ribavirin in 32 treatment-naive patients infected with HCV genotype 1. Methods Patients were randomized to receive deleobuvir 400 mg ( n=15) or 600 mg ( n=17) three times daily plus faldaprevir 120 mg once daily and weight-based ribavirin for 4 weeks. Abstract The reversed-phase chromatographic behaviour of six tricyclic antidepressants (amitryptiline, clomipramine, doxepin, imipramine, nortryptiline and maprotiline) was examined in this work with acetonitrile-water mobile phases, in the absence and presence of the ionic liquids 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride and 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, which have interesting features for the separation of basic compounds, in terms of peak shape combined with reduced retention. A decade long monitoring programme has revealed a flourishing population of the non-indigenous skeleton shrimp Paracaprella pusilla in the vicinity of outfalls of desalination plants off the Mediterranean coast of Israel. The first specimens were collected in 2010, thus predating all previously published records of this species in the Mediterranean Sea.
