El artículo analiza algunas aportaciones de la encíclica Caritas in veritate (CiV) a la ética social contemporánea. Una aportación de gran valor hermenéutico porque integra tres categorías centrales en la ética contemporánea: globalización, deliberación y donación. Dedica especial atención al concepto de caridad en la primera y tercera parte del trabajo, primero analizando la presencia de este concepto en la ética social reciente en términos de des-privatización, después muestra la emergencia de la caridad en la ética empresarial. Darba tēma, “Banku sistēma islāmā: reliģija pret peļņu”, nav zaudējusi savu aktualitāti. Laika gaitā ekonomikas teorijai saplūstot ar islāma ētiku, musulmaņu vidū radusies dilemma – vai veidot pašiem savu banku sistēmu balstītu uz islāma ētikas standartiem vai pārņemt uz klasisko ekonomikas teoriju balstīto peļņas gūšanai. Ņemot vērā politisko situāciju Tuvajos Austrumos un Ziemeļāfrikā, iespējamā islāmticīgo bēgļu masveida nonākšana Latvijā kļūst aizvien reālāka. Świętosław Orzelski (1549–1598), Starost of Radziejów, actively participated in the political life of the noblemen’s Republic of Poland as a parliamentary activist and Member of Parliament. As a deputy he participated in 13 sessions of Parliament, including 6 sessions during the rule of Stefan Batory and 7 ones in the reign of Sigismund III Vasa. He was a talented politician, continuing the best traditions of the execution faction. As one of the seniors of the Augsburg denomination, he belonged to the group of leaders in the fight for religious tolerance. Przedmiotem artykułu jest dziedzictwo kulinarne w kontekście wybranych elementów kultury religijnej. Omówiono przykłady promocji konkretnych potraw, wzorów żywieniowych nawiązujących do postaci określonych świętych (św. Jacka, św. Jana Pawła II) czy miejsc kojarzonych z przestrzeniami sakralnymi (klasztory, sanktuaria). W ostatnich latach można zaobserwować, iż tego typu praktyki promocyjne są często spotykane, korzysta z nich wiele instytucji i środowisk, np.: parafie, właściciele lokali gastronomicznych, samorządy gminne, stowarzyszenia itp., które są organizatorami różnorodnych imprez o zasięgu lokalnym i regionalnym (konkursy, jarmarki, festyny itp.).

Casein genes are highly polymorphic and the high degree of variability has qualitative and quantitative effects on milk composition thereby affecting chemical, physical and technological properties of goat milk. The aim of this work was to evaluate the genetic polymorphisms of the αs2-casein (CSN1S2) gene in the endangered Girgentana dairy goat breed in order to assess the genotypes distribution, as it is known genotype influences technological and nutritional milk properties. Study of the neutral pion and direct photon production in Au+Au collisions at √sNN = 39-200 GeV

This thesis focuses on the study of the neutral pion and eta production in the Au+Au “low-energy”collisions at √sNN = 39 and 62.4 GeV.The η/π0 ratio was reconstructed in Au+Au minimum bias collisions at √sNN = 62.4 GeV up to pT < 7 GeV/c. The direct photons were reconstructed via the subtraction method using two different PID cuts up to pT < 10 GeV/c in Au+Au minimum bias collisions at √sNN = 62.4 GeV.
Dynamics of a harmonic oscillator coupled with a Glauber amplifier

A system of a quantum harmonic oscillator bi-linearly coupled with a Glauber amplifier is analysed considering a time-dependent Hamiltonian model. The Hilbert space of this system may be exactly subdivided into invariant finite dimensional subspaces. Resorting to the Jordan-Schwinger map, the dynamical problem within each invariant subspace may be traced back to an effective SU(2) Hamiltonian model expressed in terms of spin variables only. This circumstance allows to analytically solve the dynamical problem and thus to study the exact dynamics of the oscillator-amplifier system under specific time-dependent scenarios.
