A conspectus of Tephroseris (Asteraceae: Senecioneae) in Europe outside Russia and notes on the decline of the genus

Tephroseris is generally considered a difficult genus. Based on the examination of extensive herbarium material and considering the existing literature, we recognize seven species in Europe outside Russia. These are T. palustris, T. integrifolia with subsp. integrifolia, subsp. aurantiaca, subsp. capitata, subsp. maritima, subsp. serpentini and subsp. “tundricola”, T. balbisiana, T. crispa, T. helenitis, T. longifolia and T. papposa. Phylogenetic analysis of ITS and ETS sequences showed that these species fall into three lineages. Extent and persistence of soil water repellency induced by pines in different geographic regions

The extent (determined by the repellency indices RI and RIc) and persistence (determined by the water drop penetration time, WDPT) of soil water repellency (SWR) induced by pines were assessed in vastly different geographic regions. The actual SWR characteristics were estimated in situ in clay loam soil at Ciavolo, Italy (CiF), sandy soil at Culbin, United Kingdom (CuF), silty clay soil at Javea, Spain (JaF), and sandy soil at Sekule, Slovakia (SeF). Adaptive synchronization of master-slave systems with mixed neutral and discrete time-delays and nonlinear perturbations

This paper investigates the delay-dependent adaptive synchronization problem of the master and slave structure of linear systems with both constant neutral and time-varying discrete time-delays and nonlinear perturbations based on the Barbalat lemma and matching conditions. An adaption law which includes the master-slave parameters is obtained by using the Lyapunov functional method and inequality techniques to synchronize the master-slave systems without the knowledge of upper bounds of perturbation terms. Purpose Studies have shown a positive influence of intense athletic training on several biomarkers of aging, but it remains unclear whether this influence is dependent of exercise-training-mode. MicroRNA regulation activity depends on the recognition of binding sites located on mRNA molecules. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Apache Kafka sistēmu kā risinājumu mikroservisu komunikācijas uzlabošanai, izpētīt Apache Kafka klastera izveides paņēmienus, kā arī veikt Apache Kafka klastera izveidi.
