Drabešu Liepiņu kapulauks ir vēlā dzelzs laikmeta latgaļu līdzenais kapulauks, kurš atrodas Āraišu ezera krastā. Izrakumi tajā ir veikti 20. gs. septiņdesmito gadu sākumā. Lai gan vairumā aspektu tas ir tipisks savai kultūrai un laikmetam, tas izceļas ar īpaši lielu ugunskapu skaitu un tas arī ir vienīgais latgaļu kapulauks Gaujas baseinā ar apzināti bojātu kapa inventāru. Latgaļiem šādas parašas ir netipiskas. Darbā tiek aplūkots kapu inventārs un tā īpatnību saistība ar kapulauka ģeogrāfisko novietojumu, kā arī sociālo aspektu atspoguļojums tajā.

This reflective contribution covers a wide range of ethical issues which are bound to arise when teacher-researchers engage in technical, practical or critical models of action research. Once these three models are briefly explained, the paper proceeds to justify why ethical dilemmas are an intrinsic part of action research, precisely on account of its collaborative nature and of the diverse motivations, perspectives, and institutional roles held by its participants. This paper shows the results of a research on physics education about «Magnetism» in secondary school. We investigate a constructivist approach to instructional design based upon Ausubel's model in the treatment of subjects on which pupils have poor conceptual representations and alternative frameworks. The Eph–ephrin system plays a critical role in tumor growth and vascular functions during carcinogenesis. We had previously identified cholanic acid as a competitive and reversible EphA2 antagonist able to disrupt EphA2-ephrinA1 interaction and to inhibit EphA2 activation in prostate cancer cells. Herein, we report the synthesis and biological evaluation of a set of cholanic acid derivatives obtained by conjugation of its carboxyl group with a panel of naturally occurring amino acids with the aim to improve EphA2 receptor inhibition. Pētījuma mērķis bija noteikt, vai remigrantiem, kas uzrāda augstākus atgriešanās šoka rādītājus, būs izteiktāki psiholoģiskās pielāgošanās grūtību simptomi, un kādas pastāv saistības starp remigrantu atgriešanās šoka, tā pārvarēšanas stilu un atkārtotas psiholoģiskās pielāgošanās rādītājiem pētāmajā grupā. Mērķis bija arī noteikt, kā atgriešanās šoka pārvarēšanas stili un demogrāfiskie rādītāji prognozē atgriešanās šoka un atkārtotas psiholoģiskās pielāgošanās rādītājus, un kādas ar atgriešanos saistītas pieredzes norāda Latvijai piederīgie remigranti.
