Aim To study the psychometric properties, reliability, and validity of the FinDiab quality of life questionnaire (FDQL), a strength‐oriented quality of life (QOL) questionnaire for children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Methods Participants were 215 youths with T1D (aged 10–17 years). They completed FDQL and comparison questionnaires (KINDL‐R and SDQ). Tyypin 1 diabetekselle olennaista on oman insuliinin erityksen puute, mikä johtaa verensokerin nousuun. Hoidon tavoitteena on taata mahdollisimman hyvä elämänlaatu ja estää lisäsairauksien synty, missä insuliinihoito on elinehto ja terveillä elämäntavoilla on olennainen rooli. Fyysisellä aktiivisuudella on joissakin tutkimuksissa todettu olevan positiivinen vaikutus glykohemoglobiini-arvoon (HbA1c), joka kuvaa verensokerin tasoa edeltävältä 2-3 kuukaudelta. Ramon Llull és autor d’un extens i excepcional corpus de proverbis, distribuït en cinc reculls que va escriure principalment entre 1295 i 1302. En aquest article, després de contextualitzar les col·leccions en el marc de la trajectòria intel·lectual de Llull, de presentar els seus trets més remarcables i de repassar breument alguns aspectes de la teoria paremiològica sobre els marcadors proverbials, s’analitza l’ús d’un conjunt de procediments retòrics en la formulació dels enunciats, en especial la personificació i el paral·lelisme, el qual es posa en relació amb les funcions i les aplicacions pràctiques que Llull mateix preveu per als seus proverbis.

The paper presents genealogy-oriented analysis of how the Nordic model gained its dominant characterization as modern, advanced and superior to other European welfare models while Southern European countries came to be labelled laggards in the welfare domain. To illuminate the relational nature of these, and all, comparisons, the analysis accentuates how researchers, politicians, and civil servants alike designate Nordic and Southern European states, their societies, and their welfare models.
