Objective: To compare the effects of a 12-month home-based exercise program to usual care in patients after arthroscopic capsulolabral repair of the shoulder. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Setting: Outpatient physical and rehabilitation medicine clinic. Subjects: Forty-five patients (mean age: 35 years; standard deviation (SD): 10 years) who underwent arthroscopic capsulolabral repair due to labral lesion were randomized into an exercise group (EG) or a control group (CG). Cross-national and longitudinal investigation of a short measure of workaholism

The present study investigated the factor structure of the 10-item version of the Dutch Work Addiction Scale (DUWAS). The DUWAS-10 is intended to measure workaholism with two correlated factors: working excessively (WE) and working compulsively (WC). The factor structure of the DUWAS-10 was examined among multi-occupational samples from the Netherlands (n=9,010) and Finland (n=4,567) using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Noskaidrot, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas sakarības starp apmierinātību ar darbu un apmierinātību ar komunikāciju, kā arī starp apmierinātību ar darbu un darbaholismu. Papildus noskaidrot, kā apmierinātība ar komunikāciju un darbaholisms prognozē apmierinātību ar darbu organizācijā. Pētījuma izlasi veido 93 respondenti, dažādos uzņēmumos strādājoši, ar dažādiem darba stāžiem, izglītību un amatu, no kuriem 52 = sievietes un 41 = vīrietis, vecumā no 22 līdz 65 gadi. Identifying the underlying factors leading to such adverse effects is an active area of medical research. Las cajas de ahorros españolas : gestión en una crisis y consecuencias de la misma

Este trabajo estudia los problemas que han sufrido las entidades de crédito españolas en la crisis financiera que están soportando. El estudio se centra en las variables que afectan al impago de los créditos en general centrándose en las diferencias que existen entre las cajas de ahorros y los bancos comerciales en cuanto al impacto de la misma. Los resultados obtenidos indican que los bancos obtienen mejores resultados que las cajas en la morosidad. Como variables significativas que incrementan la morosidad están: las adjudicaciones de activos inmobiliarios, el volumen de participadas y el número de concurso de acreedores declarados.
